Käthe Wohlfahrt - Nürnberg

Käthe Wohlfahrt is based out of Rothenburg and is a famous maker of handmade Christmas tree ornaments and other holiday items. They have shops throughout Germany including one in Nuremberg along Königsstraße, which we visited recently during our stay in the city. Opening hours are 10am to 7pm daily.This is a great shop to see excellent quality tree ornament and other Christmas items which you can purchased year round. Their window displays are quite inviting. Once you enter, you find walls lined with beautiful ornaments and tables full of impressive Nutcracker figures, traditional German Christmas pyramids even a handful of traditional cuckoo clocks on the walls, all of which are really nice to see even if you don't plan on making purchases.During our visit to the Nuremburg Käthe Wohlfahrt shops earlier this month, we ended up purchasing four new tree ornaments which now sit beautifully in our trees back home. They really stand out next to ornaments of lower quality. The craftsmanship is really there with the Käthe Wohlfahrt ornaments.Will happily revisit Käthe Wohlfahrt shops when we encounter them during visits to European cities in the future.

A shop I visited just for exclusive Christmas stuff excellent products nothing like it in UK

Nicht ganz so groß und spektakulär wie in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, aber für Weihnachtsfans ein sehr schönes Geschäft. Die Preise sind durchweg hoch, aber es wird auch keine chinesische Billigware angeboten. Hier findet jeder etwas egal, ob Glas, Holz, oder Metalldeko...

This store is massive and has lots to look at and buy. It can become very congested because of how popular it is but it is worth checking out. A great place to purchase truly unique souvenirs that are actually made in Germany! Because this place can get so busy I would recommend coming here earlier in the day to try and avoid some of the crowd!

I love that place that is all what CHRISTMAS is about if you live CHRISTMAS like i to and is not about the gifts no is about the verzieren der Wohnung.

Came all the way from England to buy a clock. Store was closed with a sign that said to ask from the other store front two doors down. Spoke with a lady who said they didn't have enough people to work both stores. This was on 12/19. The market was packed. I was ready to spend close to €1,000. They weren't in the slightest interested in my business.

Bei der Käthe geht einem das ❤️auf.Sehr schöne Weihnachtsartikel das ganze Jahr über.+ schönes eingerichtetes Geschäft+ gute Auswahl- Personal spaßbefreit- man darf nichts anfassen- keine Fotos erlaubtKaufe seit Jahren Produkte von diesem Hersteller, allerdings lässt Qualität zu wünschen übrig! Oft sind Kontaktstellen nicht gut verleimt und es lösen sich Teile.
