Really fantastic language course. My background in German is a bit all over the place and doesn't correspond to a specific level, so I had been searching for a place that would be able to tailor a course for me. I also travel quite a bit, so I needed online courses, but didn't want to have a different teacher every time like many of the other companies offer.Expath completely fits the bill, and my teacher, Lana, is truly wonderful. She puts in the extra effort to figure out where the holes in my German are. I look forward to every class and always feel challenged. I couldn't be happier about my choice of German class.

I had a very good experience with Expath, my trainer was Tiina and I was in the April-2023 morning batch for A1.1The trainer had activities with us everyday and would give us plenty of resources which proved to be very useful, she would even give us hausaufgabe and check it. I would surely recommend Expath to my expat colleagues or anyone seeking a online training service.

I thoroughly enjoy my German classes with Expath. I started with A1.2 and have already continued on to the A2.1 course with them. Our teacher, Thomas Reisch, is brilliant. He is patient, methodical and motivational. He also offers the most creative and fun class exercises. I think I'm slowly becoming more comfortable to initiate conversations in German.

I enrolled in A1.1 German class and, overall, I had a positive experience and can recommend it for learning German. However, there were a few concerns that I would like to highlight:1. One issue I faced was that 3 different teachers taught the class due to the assigned teacher being sick or traveling. This made it a bit difficult to follow consistently as each teacher had a different teaching style.2. Another concern was that the last 2 units out of the total 7 were covered in the last hour of the final class due to miscommunication. It felt rushed and didn't allow for adequate comprehension of the material.3. Additionally, the class dates were postponed by a week, which was disappointing. They don't allow students to join another class in case of illness or travel, whereas the teachers themselves had the flexibility to do so, which seemed unfair.4. There was inconsistency regarding homework expectations, as some teachers prioritized it while others did not.5. Although the teachers spoke both English and German, only 1 out of the 3 teachers consistently conducted the class entirely in German. I particularly enjoyed her teaching style, which included the use of flashcards, online games, and engaging objects.5. The 3-hour duration of each class felt intense and overwhelming, especially for working professionals like myself. Introducing some relaxation during class hours and possibly increasing the number of classes could help alleviate the pressure and promote better learning.Despite these concerns, I still believe the class is recommendable for learning German, but it would be beneficial if these issues were addressed for an improved experience.

I absolutely recommend to take German classes with Expath.- My teacher, Michael, was really amazing with his organisational efforts related to keeping notes, list of home work sections and laying information in English when it is needed. He made the sessions really easy to follow. It helps a great deal to concentrate in the class and not take any notes, because Michael maintains crisp notes in an online drive which I still reference during my practice and for doing home work.- Learning from a native German speaker who also speaks good English is great to have.- Expath also offers the courses in a very customer savvy way, they are really helpful and are ready to answer your questions whenever needed. I am looking forward to my A2.2 classes in the new year.

Highly recommended ! I completed the morning-Intensive A1.2 course with Expath, and currently taking A2.1.Veronika is a great tutor. She is professional, friendly, patient and makes sure all our questions are covered in class. Each session is interactive and has a diversity of learning activities.

I've been learning in A2.2 course with Expath, Claudia was a teacher of our group. She is absolutely one of the greatest teachers I've ever had. We switched to German almost straight away. She also mastered the teaching technique and all the computer tools necessary for a remote class. A totally fulfilling course and a very nice experience overall.Thank you, Claudia and Expath team!
