Thi Lan is an amazing dancer, but she is an even more amazing teacher. This is for the following 3 reasons:1. She teaches you very precisely moves as well as move sequences by decomposing them in 3 or 4 compartments. Which means that even complex movements of up to 10 counts become super easy.2. She teaches precisely how to best lead and also follow, and she also pays attention to the way every leader and followed dances and willGive each dancer proper tips to lead/follow well that fit his style.3. She goes the extra mile and teaches you elements of styling so that you look elegant and really good when you dance.4. Thi Lan also always teaches the leader and follower parts separately and dances them for both leaders (usually men) and followers (women). no space for misunderstandings. she will not accept to move on unless you perfect the move and she is able to build on it for the next level.I have rarely seen somebody so patient with and attentionate to his students.Thi Lan adapts to the languages spoken by her students, although she is a native German speaker, she does not shy away from switching to fluent English for her students who do not speak good German.

Thilan is a very professional dance teacher with a lot of experience in different dancing styles (salsa cuban, salsa NY, hip hop, rumba, afro). She can explain every detail so good that you can understand the right approach to make it happen. I love the energy in my dancing class and would recommend her 200%!

Thilan is an amazing teacher next to the fact that she is a lovely, funny and warm person. Her teaching inspires you to improve week by week. Her attention to detail and styling is amazing (other teachers don't have eyes for the things she sees).Overall she is the best in Cuban Salsa and Kizomba/Urban Kiz and lady styling. Too bad google only allows 5 stars maximum because she deserves 10 stars easily!

Seit Januar besuche ich den Kizomba Kurs bei Thilian und freue mich jedes Mal auf meine nächste Kursstunde. Thilan ist eine sehr gute Lehrerin, professionell und lehrt uns die Technik sehr genau. Ich find es super, dass sie mit Devid zusammenarbeitet, so ist der Fokus auf Mann und Frau perfekt ausgeglichen. Die Workshops sind sehr intensiv und wir lernen anspruchsvolle Schritte, die Spaß machen. Ich freue mich schon auf nächsten Workshop!:))

Ich besuche schon seit einigen Jahren fortlaufend Thilan's Urban Kiz Tanzkurse und auch mal ihre Wochenend-Workshops.Vom Urban Kiz Anfänger-, zum Mittelstufen- und Fortgeschrittenen-Kurs.Derzeit (Stand: Sommer 2020) unterrichtet Thilan ihre Schüler im Gleiswerk in Benrath gemeinsam mit Devid. Die Kurse sind sehr anspruchsvoll. Wer in Düsseldorf Urban-Kiz lernen möchte, ist hier richtig.

I started with the Kizomba beginners course under the instructor Thilan. She is a great instructor. The classes are super fun and she takes extra care that each student gets the nuances of the dance moves. You don't need to have a partner to attend the courses. You partner up with all the other students. She also holds excellent bootcamps and workshops for people who want to learn different techniques or styles. I had a wonderful experience and I learnt a lot. I will be continuing with Pro Danza for the next level. For non-german speakers the classes are held in English which makes it even better.

Beste Kizomba Schule EVER! Hier habe ich meine ersten Schritte zum URBAN KIz gemacht . . . . Thilan unterrichtet wundervoll und gemeinsam mit Devid für Damen und Herren nur zu empfehlen! Super professionell!

Ich lerne bei Thilan Salsa Cuban style zu tanzen. Sie ist total Sympathisch, Streng und Begeisternd und dadurch kommt man sehr schnell bei ihr voran.Ihre Tanzstunde geht 1.5 h. Sie nimmt sich Zeit sowohl einzeln den Männer die Schrittabfolge wiederholen zu zeigen als auch den Frauen, bevor man zusammen tanzt. Sie tanzt in jeder Unterrichtsstunde sowohl den männlichen als auch weiblichen Part und gibt jedem pers. Hilfestellungen.Darüber hinaus nehme ich bei Ihr Einzelstunden und Sie hat es tätsächlich geschafft mir als ehemaligen Tanzmuffel Rhythmusgefühl einzutrichtern. :-).Also nicht verzagen alles kann man lernen.
