The personnel does not know that you can be an EU citizen and not live in the EU. Unfortunately they are also very unhelpful and do not seem to care at all (shoutout to the lady at the customs office after security that doesn’t even look at you in the face while talking). They don’t try at all to understand or improve their experience. The customs officer just suggested I go back to the EU and retry to get the stamp somewhere else (unbelievable!). Just spend your money in another country if you want the VAT refund!

Very unprofessional workers who treat the passengers and even their own colleagues very poorly. Do not let them treat you like this, insist to get your customs stamp at the check in desk to avoid headaches. Even when we complained to the other airport workers they seemed to know already about the bad reputation of the Zoll workers.

Telefonisch ist der Zoll leider nicht erreichbar. Wozu dann eine Telefonnummer???

Customs of the airport is very unprofessional. The customs are doing everything to not refund us the tax. We first went to check-in at 711 and they said after security control and after waiting 30 minutes in the queue at the security control, the custom there said there is no stamp. Exit and go back to check-in 711. So we exited and went back and got our refunds. We had to wait another half an hour. I think they are doing that to take advantage of people who don’t have time to get their refund. So my suggestion is to go to first check-in 711 and once they tell you that “if the items are carry-on you should get a stamp after security control”, you should tell them “we went there and they said there is no stamp and come back here”

Eigentliche immer gutes und nettes personal. Bis auf heute.Ich bin vorgestern zurück nach Deutschland geflogen und die Fluggesellschaft mit der ich geflogen bin hat mich gebeten da ich zu viel Gepäck hatte sollte ich die extra gebühren nachdem Check-In zahlen. Nur als ich dann gezahlt habe hat die Dame am Schalter in Istanbul vergessen die Adresse aufzukleben wo meine Tragetasche hintransportiert werden soll. Als ich in Berlin ankam fehlte meine Tasche und die Kollegen der WISAG konnten dies ausfindig machen. Als mir gesagt wurde das meine Tasche durch den Zoll nochmal muss sobald dies dort eintrifft war es für mich kein Problem da ich Geschenke und Kleidung in der Tasche mitführte. ALS heute meine Tasche nachhause geliefert wurde war alles durcheinander die Unterwäsche meiner Frau ganz weit oben , Medikamente die ich aus Deutschland mitführte wurden einfach in die Tasche geworfen sodass ich keins davon benutzen kann mein Tablet wurde zerstört und ohne hülle wieder eingepackt. Bodenlose Frechheit was sich die Arbeiter da gedacht haben.Als ich anrief ging keiner ran und zum Schluss wurde abgehoben. ich erzählte ein Teil meiner Geschichte da hab ich gemerkt wie der Kollege kaum zuhörte und auf mein Gesicht aufgelegt hat.Und nun wer bezahlt mir das ganze ?Niemand ! Wen kann ich zur Rechenschaft ziehen? Niemanden ! Ich werde nicht mehr zustimmen das irgendein Zoll Mitarbeiter ohne meine Erlaubnis meine Tasche oder meinen Koffer öffnen darf. Niewieder vertraue ich dank euch Inkompetenten Arbeiter jemals einen Zoll Mitarbeiter.
