We loved the quality of the artwork in the gallery and bought a few of the water renderings. Frau Karmann was friendly and worked hard to to teach us German while we were in her shop. She is happy to have you browse and discuss the artwork. Recommend a visit while you are in Rothenburg

Love this place. The owner is super-friendly and helpful, and their prints are, IMO, the best in town. I have three at home now. Always stop in here to browse when I'm in Rothenburg. It's just a bit outside of the main tourist drag, on the way to the Castle Garden on the west end of the old town. Don't miss it.

The PORSCHE Club of America has been coming to the Gallerie am Burgtor for over 30 years. Astrid Karmann is a delightful lady with awesome knowledge of Rothenburg. All her artworks are made locally - unlike the stuff you get at the Marktplatz from China etc. Her service is outstanding; she also ships worldwide; and inevitable as you walk in to browse her vast collection of oils, prints and other art, you'll be offered a glass of Sherry. This place is a MUST visit in Rotheburg.

Gallerie zum Burgtor, located between the Burgtor and Marktplatz, is where you buy art prints of Rothenburg. Frau Karmann has a wonderful collection to fit whatever needs one requires for artistic views of this memorable city, all presented with courteous and friendly service, Deutsch or English. This is a mandatory stop in our frequent visits to Rothenburg as we have been repeat customers for years.
