Freshman Institute of FH Aachen - Campus Geilenkirchen

From the visa process until the end of the program and entering the university, I always felt supported by the Freshman team. If I could go back, I would choose Freshman Institute again

Die Lehrer und Lehrerinnen waren alle sehr nett und unterrichteten ganz professionell.Ich war vom Anfang schlecht in Mathe aber Frau Haselhuhn hat mir alles gut beigebracht und habe schließlich ein 1.0 bei FSP erreicht. Die Mitarbeiter im Büro haben mir auch viele Hilfe und Vorschläge für die Bewerbung der Unis gegeben.Freshman Institute ist einen wunderschönen Start für das Studium in Deutschland, ich bin sehr sehr dankbar für alles ;-)

When students first come to Germany, they are lost in this new world. Freshman institute was the the place for me that guided me through this foggy path that I chose. It was a great place to meet and interact with multicultural people of my age group to broaden my viewpoint. It was a great transition place that helped me learn the basics of surviving in a foreign country alone. Thank you freshman institute!

The Freshman program was indeed a perfect on boarding phase for me to start my further education in Germany. Upon receiving the admission into the freshman program, everything else was taken care by the Freshman Team (Airport Transfer, Accomodation, Insurance, Local Doctor in case of emergency, support with VISA/residence permit, etc.) Everything one has to struggle to find out while considering to study abroad was taken care by the Freshman Team to ease a smooth transition for us International Students. I was able to learn the German Language within 10 months only with the help of their intensive German Lessons. Everyone who passes the final exam of the Freshman Program are also guaranteed with an admission into one of their partnering universities.

I was a student at this institute. I believe it is the best wayfor an international student to start her/his studies in Germany. Highly Recommended!

Barely any German students, integrating in Germany by only speaking English is not the best choice. High tuition and few choices of partner universities for international students. Should focus on more German teaching, up to C1, especially for FH Aachen future students.

Horrible. Just a way for FH Aachen to make money from international kids. They actually don’t get us to study at FH Aachen but a much smaller campus in a tiny village called “Julich” which doesn’t have the academic rigour or integrity as that of FH Aachen. Standard of students, atleast back in 2017 was very very bad
