Finger weg von dieser vermeintlich günstigen Umzugsfirma. Wir sind nach Guatemala umgezogen und haben folgende schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht:- viel zu niedrig kalkuliertes Umzugsvolumen- Nicht professionelles Einpacken, was zu Schäden am Umzugsgut geführt hat- Nicht korrekte Zolldeklaration. Dies hat uns sehr hohe Nachzahlungen eingebracht- Unprofessionelle und langsame Abwicklung im Zielland, was zu unnötigen Lagerkosten geführt hat- Auf Nachfragen und Reklamationen wird weder per E-Mail noch Telefon reagiertFazit: Finger weg von diesem Anbieter.

My family used Compas for an international move three times in the last 5 years and each time our household goods were packed meticulously and safely. All of our items arrived in great condition and throughout the entire moving process Daniel was very communicative and understanding. Anytime we had questions or needed to make changes last minute, he and his team was always accommodating and took great care of us. The packers were very professional and handled our items with great care. We would highly recommend them for local and international moves.

Keine Probleme mit dem Abholen und Laden unserer Ware. Auch erste Gespräche vorher bis es zum abholen kam waren gut. Die Angestellten waren nett & hilfsbereit. Leider lässt die Partnerfirma in Miami (East Coast Shipping) COMPAS ganz schlecht dastehen. Wir erhielten nur die Hälfte unserer Sachen weil sie beim ausladen getrennt wurden und dann nur die eine Hälfte aufgeladen und zu uns transportiert wurde. Dazu will ich nicht mal was sagen, Fehler können immer passieren. Wie lange wir allerdings hinter unseren Sachen herlaufen mussten und um Updates bitten mussten war eine absolute Frechheit. Ich mußte erst mit dem Einleiten rechtlicher Schritte drohen, dann auf einmal klappte es nur 2 Tage später mit der Lieferung. Wie nachlässig die Sachen in einen Mietlieferwagen gestopft wurden ist wieder ein anderes Thema. Aber wenigstens wurde nichts beschädigt und wir haben endlich alles. Aber wie gesagt, so kann der Ruf einer an sich guten Firma zerstört werden. In meinem Augen hat sich COMPAS nicht adäquat genug um zeitnahe Lieferung unserer Sachen gekümmert. Sie hatten ja unser Geld, wen kümmert es da noch, ob die Lieferung ankommt oder nicht?Aufgrund dieser negativen Erfahring würde ich COMPAS definitv nicht noch einmal beauftragen.

We shipped household goods from Germany to USA – no easy task at time of COVID pandemic. Goods had to be stored in Germany for several weeks waiting for opportunity to ship. Communication throughout process was perfect. Goods arrived weeks earlier than anticipated – in excellent conditions, not a scratch. Clean! Excellent service continued on US side – thanks to Compas’ US partner. And again, communication throughout process was excellent and reliable. Prior to this shipment, we had to move our entire household from Germany to US to Japan and back to US. We know a bit about moving households. In comparison, we found Compas’ service deeply satisfying. Highly recommendable.

Great team. Have moved many times in my career and this may have been one of the best.Hard working, professional, great customer service. Daniel had my back every step of the way. Big move from Germany to the states but Compas eased my worries and ensured I had the smoothest move possible. Trust me, you can't get much better. I would definitely use them again.

We moved a 20ft container of household goods from Germany to the USA in the summer of 2021. COMPAS did a great job throughout the quotation and move process, and I would gladly recommend them to others. I had a lot of questions, because it was my first international move, and they took the time to professionally and competently answer all of my questions. The quote was fair -- it wasn't the lowest I got, though only by a little. Given all the factors, I felt confident that they would do a good job, so I went with them. I was not disappointed!Before moving day, I received clear instructions about what to do for the import/export paperwork and how to prepare for moving day. The movers came at the appointed time, packed our belongings very well, and filled out the packing lists. I received timely updates about the status of our shipment and handover to the destination agent in the USA. Even given the current disruptions to the global supply chain (summer 2021), COMPAS was able to get our container moved quickly and without extra storage charges. The only surprise charge we had was a shipping line up-charge based on the difference in freight rates from the quote date until the order was booked. But I had heard horror stories of having to pay for weeks of storage in ports and depots; we didn't have to deal with that -- thank you COMPAS!Our things were delivered and unpacked without any damage to any item. Great work! We are very happy, and would gladly recommend COMPAS for your international move from Germany.P.S. All of the paperwork was available in both German and English, and the customer service was excellent in English. I valued this a lot, as German would have been more of a challenge for me.

Compas Movers hat meinen Übersee-Umzug von den USA nach Deutschland Ende 2021/Anfang 2022 durchgeführt, und ich habe nur gute Erfahrungen gemacht.Ich habe mein Umzugsgut aus Zeit- und Kostengründen *selber* verpackt sowie be- und entladen; Compas Movers hat die Containerbereitstellung/-verschiffung/-verzollung und -anlieferung verantwortet. Bei einem wirklich guten Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis hat alles reibungslos geklappt; der Container kam sogar schneller in Deutschland an als ich erwartet hatte.Die Kommunikation mit den Compas-Mitarbeitern Daniel und Christian verlief reibungslos, und ich wurde durchgehend auf dem Laufenden gehalten. Ich kann Compas vorbehaltlos für Umzüge aus den USA empfehlen.

Very good experience with COMPAS, moving from Frankfurt area Germany to California. They were professional, the packing was excellent and the overall experience was smooth.We had 3 companies quote, and COMPAS was the only one that really asked intelligent questions about where we were moving - how large is the street? Can we get a permit? Etc.The packing did take longer than expected, and the cubic size was larger = higher costs. However due to Covid they could only reference a video of our apartment, so I can see how this was underestimated. They were clear that everything was an estimate, as were other movers we quoted, so for me this would have been the same with any moving company.Overall I would absolutely recommend them for anyone moving internationally.

Hallowir sind im September 21 mit COMPAS von Bad Vilbel nach Puebla Mexiko umgezogen. Gesamteindruck:Angebot war gut.Vorbereitung bis zum Tag des Umzuges war in der Kommunikation etwas holprig aber gut.Umzug Abwicklung Handling operativ am Tag des Umzuges bis zur Auslieferung in Mexiko war tatsächlich ausgezeichnet !Umzug insgesamt hervorragend ... 20 Tage vom einpacken bis zur Lieferung, das war sehr gut. Das beste an allem !!Trotz 1/2 mal um die Welt, es ist nix !! beschädigt worden !Vielen Dank für alles !

COMPAS movers did an outstanding job with our move from Germany to the U.S. They were there holding our hand through every step of the process. From filling out all the required forms to coordinating every detail of our move. They also spoke great English which was a huge plus since we unfortunately do not speak German. The movers were very professional and packed all items very carefully. I suggested this company to a close friend who also ended up using them and was also happy with the service.
