My 9-year-old son has been taking German language classes at the LernWerkstatt since October 2021. Anja is very professional, always on time, prepared for the class, communicates with us the parents, and shares progress reports.We found her teaching style to be excellent for our child. The classes include hands-on experience, physical activities, and a lot of encouragement for the child. My son took some extensive classes with Anja which we were worried would be too much for our kid, but it went like breeze. Our child was having fun and learning without feeling that it was too much for him. Our son also tried Online-classes with Anja after we moved to a different city. The Online classes are as good as the in-person classes. They still included a lot of physical and fun activities.Our son was going through a challenging time at school. He was new, did not speak the language, was not familiar with the German culture, and had no friends. We were watching him welting in front of our eyes, he did not want to go to school every morning. After the classes with Anja, thanks to her advanced teaching techniques and encouraging and fun ways of teaching, our son is now thriving. He is much more confident, he made new friends and is happy in general. He likes to learn and to go to school now.For us as parents, we always found Anja supportive and easy to talk to. She communicated with us frequently made sure to hear our needs and made accommodations to meet them. She explained the German school system to us (we are foreigners) and translated important documents. We are extremely satisfied with our experience with the LernWerkstatt and will continue our business with Anja.
