Went there as an American selling to a German.The process was fast. Be ready to pay 30% of the sale price.Also they'll make you get a German customs declaration... which costs 50€ cash with the in house broker.Lastly... they have to check the VIN, so BRING the car with.All together 45 min out the door.

Very rude, and nasty to customers. Charged me multiple twice for the same thing. I explained to 3 different workers I needed my 550 form stamped to clear my vehicle through customs on base. An older lady named Sabine was very rude after I explained she said no I was wrong and told me good bye and walked off after I told her numerous time that the form was mandatory. She closed the door and never came back. I was in the office from 11 they went on break at 12 , didn’t come out to give me answers until 13 and I didn’t leave the build until 1400.Sehr unhöflich und ekelhaft gegenüber Kunden. Habe mich mehrmals für das gleiche in Rechnung gestellt. Ich erklärte 3 verschiedenen Arbeitern, dass ich mein 550-Formular benötige, um mein Fahrzeug durch den Zoll auf der Basis zu verzollen. Eine ältere Dame namens Sabine war sehr unhöflich, nachdem ich ihr erklärte, dass sie nein sagte, ich habe mich geirrt und mich verabschiedet und gegangen, nachdem ich ihr mehrmals gesagt hatte, dass das Formular obligatorisch sei. Sie schloss die Tür und kam nicht mehr zurück. Ich war ab 11 Uhr im Büro, sie machten um 12 Uhr Pause, kamen erst um 13 Uhr heraus, um mir Antworten zu geben, und ich verließ das Gebäude erst um 14.00 Uhr.

Hatte nie Probleme dort, weder telefonisch noch persönlich. Bei Änderungen im Ausfuhrverfahren wurde mir immer weitergeholfen. Viel kann problemlos per Mail geklärt werden. Ich bin öfter dort um Dokumente abstempeln zu lassen. Die längste Wartezeit waren bis jetzt 30 min. Das die Leute nicht nach der Reihe „dran kommen“ liegt daran, das ich z.B. nur Ausfuhrdokumente stempeln lassen muss und das natürlich wesentlich schneller geht und von einer anderen Abteilung bearbeitet wird als wenn ich ein Paket abholen muss, welches die ganze Einfuhrzoll Prozedur durchlaufen muss.

Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Und wenn man sich nicht benimmt wie die Axt im Wald, bekommt man sogar Dinge erklärt, z.b. dass die Paketfristen von der Post bestimmt werden, und nicht vom Amt. Ich konnte auch problemlos die Lagerfrist für meine Sendung verlängern.

These kind professionals make the experience of paying more taxes for things you've already purchased as enjoyable as it can be. Note to self, it's not enjoyable. But atleast the staff are nice.

Kann nicht meckern. Angenehmer Kontakt, vor Ort auch nett. Das Ganze ging recht zügig. Vormittags waren 3 vor mir. In ca 20 min wieder raus. Parken vorm Haus, direkt an der Autobahn.

Went there for collecting a post and it was very good experience. I would suggest to go early in the morning for avoiding large waiting times. Nearest bus stop is Von Miller Straße.

Writing this review will be as pointless as coming to this customs office. If you value your time or your sanity you will lose it all here. Its typical German efficiency, which means there isnt any. They don't care how long you wait, you need them, so they take their time, no sense of urgency, nothing at all. Not to say the people are mean, but the process is ridiculous.Everything in this country is slow and this place is no exception.
