I was set on getting my visa myself but when I realized it was LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE to get an appointment right now (war + the broken and overloaded german visa system...ect.) I was forced to cave and find help.I signed up to work with Ina and Leah after hearing good reviews from a family member. The price is high (but in fact, low compared to all of the other visa lawyers in Berlin. Believe me I emailed them all) but you get a whole team of people on your side ready to help you with healthcare, taxes, and most importantly to prepare all the complex visa documents. You aren't paying for one lawyer. You pay one single fee for a new whole family, who happens to be pros at exactly the things that are costing you your sanity.The length of your visa can come down to how to speak with the visa representative on the day of the appointment–I felt so much better knowing I was with Peer, someone who had done this thousands of times and in my case, even knew the worker at the visa offices after working with him so many times.And the results were above expectations! I was awarded 3 Years on a freelance artist visa! (granted, I did have pretty ideal application material prepared but still I was surprised 'cause you never know!).Lastly, I read some negative reviews about some members of the team on google before I joined. I think those were probably some special cases of client's unique personalities making it difficult to get the job done. I get it, paying tons of money that you don't have to people on the internet is not so fun (or easy to explain to family!!). Once you can move past that, I promise you'll realize that Expats is all you hoped for...and more.If you are stressed and need endless situation-specific questions answered they are there for you! Trust is key.

Ina and the team helped my partner and me tremenduously in getting a freelance visa. Without her and her team we would not have been able to do it. Totally worth the cost. It saved us many, many hours of work, months of waiting (as they made sure we were never stuck on a step and always chased the authorities when needed) and it took the uncertainty out of the process, as they had done this so often they new exactly what to expect and how to make sure our chances were near certain.And obviously, it worked!

Ina and her team were absolutely amazing. I hired them over the summer for my freelance visa, as I was back and forth to NY a lot for some projects. Having them help with this process was the best decision I could have made. After getting them all of my required personal documents they handled everything, from the paperwork to setting appointments. They even offered to book an appointment for my Anmeldung. I didn't use their apartment finder services but if I need help finding another I certainly will. Ina and her team are doing incredible job, sometimes completing impossible missions and my case was one of them.Having applied for the temporary residency more than a year ago, I was hopelessly anticipating to get my Aufenthaltsgenehmigung in Stuttgart. I had no progress with Ausländerbehörde: my calls and e-mails were ignored and I, in the meantime, was stuck in Germany without having a chance to travel abroad.However, the things changed after Expats in Wonderland overtook this issue: after 2-3 weeks I finally received my documents and can travel abroad!I highly recommend their services, since not only the team gets things done very efficiently, without taking much time of yours, but also the company deeply cares about the clients tailoring the approach the specific request.
