Terrible organization and teaching. After studying the same course (Software Engineering) at a different, public university for a month, I can safely say that I have already learned more there than I have at the XU after a whole Semester.At least the staff is nice and responsive, and clearly wants to do better. Still, the overflow of flaws in combination with the low amount of things you actually learn makes you wonder more than twice what you actually pay for.

Ein toller Tipp aus dem Freundeskreis: Für alle, die einen Studienplatz in den Bereichen Digitale Medien und Digitalwirtschaft suchen. Hier ist die Crème de la Crème der Dozenten (man befindet sich sozusagen in einer echten Nachwuchsschmiede), ein toller Campus und sogar ein Co-Working Space. Wir sind begeistert!

We at (beatvest) an investment app for beginners worked together with XU University on two different students let project in the social media and the UX/UI space. Firstly, the professor Petyo was very nice and super competent on his field—we love the way he exchanged with the students and led the class on this case study. Secondly, the students did a fantastic job in implementing our case study, it was a symbiosis of business and academia. It was great to see how they applied their theoretical knowledge which they received at uni to a real world problem that face companies, like ours, in the tech space. I can highly recommend working with the uni and their fantastic students and teachers.

It is a nice university for international students, but the entrance is possible from Babelsberg studio not from the rbb office

My experience at this university was bad despite the good impression it makes on the outside through its marketing campaigns. They do not respect the deadlines set by the university administration itself, for example, the grades for an exam taken in August have not been delivered yet. Exam dates are not published sufficiently in advance. Their promises of being a flexible university that adapts to the student body are not true either, as one of their promises was to maintain a 4-day university day, so that the student body can work, but this is still not happening.There are universities that offer the same degree courses and their results can be observed because they have more years of experience. Perhaps the modern and new may be attractive, but when it comes to choosing a university it is safer to choose a university where you can see that what they have to offer is a reality.It is really shameful that they allow reviews of staff working at the university... it is another demonstration of the eagerness of this university to hide the reality behind it ...

Perfect place to study. Looks like my favorite coffee shop: perfect learning atmosphere, helping professors and very good opportunities to meet CEOs from different companies.
