I am so glad we found Christine and Scott and hired both of them to come along on our adventure. We were both so worried about whether the pics would turn out or not beforehand, and on the day of, I had never felt more comfortable in front of a camera. It felt like I was out for a hike with friends that I had known for years. Christine was willing to go above & beyond and carry some of our bags so we could get the perfect shots. We are so happy we made the decision to have an adventure elopement!

Highly highly highly recommend! Christine was an absolute joy to work with! My husband and I planned a private vow exchange with Made in the Mountains shortly after our wedding in June. Christine was highly organized and made planning incredibly quick and easy. She is very knowledgeable about the Alps and managed to find a location for our vow exchange adventure that met all of our requests. Unfortunately, the weather was not cooperative during the second half of our day, but Christine was able to quickly pivot and find us a safe alternative location for our exchange of vows that was still beautiful. She was so easy to talk with (important given the number of hours you spend together!) and did an excellent job of helping two people that don't like having their photos taken feel comfortable. She got us sneak peeks incredibly fast, and our full album shortly thereafter! Truly cannot recommend Christine enough!

Wow! Where should we even start?! We really couldn’t begin to thank Made in the Mountains Photo enough for their spectacular customer service and beautiful photos/video. We were looking for a photographer and videographer who was willing to document our two-person Dolomites elopement – but would treat it as if held the same importance as a traditional wedding– and we found that in Christine and Scott.We chose them almost immediately after we saw their incredible work on Instagram. Both of us had an automatic, emotional response to one of Christine’s photos and knew we had to reach out! Christine’s passion for adventure elopements and her love for the mountains made her the obvious choice… and it proved to be the best decision we could make!From beginning to end Christine and Scott were exceptionally easy to work with (They worked with us for 17 months to make our dream a reality). They took the time to understand our vision in detail and put together a perfect plan, location ideas, timelines, vendor help and guides to make this process as stress free as possible.On our big day, Christine and Scott were not only affable, professional, and organized – but it truly felt like having two close friends along with us on such an important day. Due to rainstorms in the evening, Christine took it upon herself to come up with a solution in order to maximize our time outside. They did not have to do this but went over and beyond to make sure that our day went as close to our plan as possible. We can’t thank them enough for that!Both Christine and Scott have a keen eye and displayed their ability to capture the most special, candid moments that made the day unforgettable. Planning an elopement on a short-ish time frame on another continent can certainly feel stressful even if you choose to elope to help minimize the stress, but Christine was so so helpful in curating our day to exactly what we were looking for on our elopement day.  From the first video chat to helping select options for locations and hikes to timeline arrangements, Christine has all her bases covered to help you through the planning process and to make your day the best for what you're imagining.   Christine is incredible when it comes to planning a day that you dream of while still having amazing back up plans for whatever weather or cable car schedules have in store.The day of an elopement can be full of excited energy (as it was for us!) and meeting a photographer for the first time on that day can feel a little extra stressful, but Christine was so prepared and professional that we felt immediately at ease.  She made it feel like we were on a hike with a friend (who happened to be an amazing photographer!) which really helped us to enjoy our day.  The day was jam packed with all the hikes and activities and travel we planned, but Christine helped everything move along smoothly.  She has so many tricks up her sleeve from numerous weather apps to hike recommendations to guides for everything from attire (and how to pack it for a hike!) to activity recommendations.Our elopement day and hikes were all we wanted it to be, and the images we received after just helped us to relive those moments.  We loved the combination of the more portrait type photos (which still felt natural even though we are definitely not naturals!) to the images of us hiking or just being us" with each other.Above all

She was very detailed in getting to know us and helping create our vision of our perfect elopement wedding. We got sneak peak photos back next day, and love every single one. I have so many good things to say about Christine, it's hard to figure out where to even start. The TL;DR is that she is a genuinely wonderful person, was instrumental in helping us plan and execute our elopement day in a way that felt so authentic to us and our relationship, captured the most phenomenal pictures I've ever seen, and helped us have what is was literally the best day of our lives. I wish I could live it a million times over, and I feel like I can through the pictures she captured.The long version:My husband and I had initially started down the path of the traditional wedding plan, but after touring venues and looking at it, sat down and decided it really wasn't what we wanted out of our wedding day and didn't feel like us. We explored other elopement planning companies and options and knew that was the route we wanted to go, but hadn't found a plan that felt right. I found Christine through some instagram and google searching and absolutely loved her portfolio, and after our first video call with her we knew she could help us plan the day we wanted. She was so warm and friendly, and her experience and attention to detail came through in the questions she asked. Her initial questionnaire was very detailed and it really helped us by making us sit down and really think about the things we wanted out of our day and being able to verbalize it. We ended up having about two and a half months to plan (luckily we'd had some things already taken care of beforehand) and Christine was so helpful through the whole process. She has put so much work into having tons of information available to help planning, and she was incredibly responsive to any questions we had along the way! The location options she put together were amazing, and honestly hard to narrow down to one. She took everything we had told her and really baked it into the location scouting and timeline she put together. She went above and beyond helping with suggestions for other vendors, and even the idea of doing a makeup class at home when I couldn't find a HMUA local to Switzerland. We also discussed options for backup plans in the case of weather, which for us ended up being changing our date to the following day to avoid super heavy rain in the forecast. Christine's flexibility and preparedness for this was above and beyond, and we were so grateful because we ended up having absolutely perfect weather on the plan B day.When Christine and Scott showed up the morning of, any last hesitations I had were immediately gone - they felt like friends from the first moment. Christine is so good at putting you at ease and making sure you have what you need and are comfortable. Scott was a joy to have along too and he's got a serious talent for blending into the background and making you forget he's even there so you can really just be present in the moment. The whole day felt like we were having the best adventure, with two friends along, who also just happened to get some really kickass pictures of us. Christine was the best kind of hype woman when we needed it, and was really great when she had us do poses that might feel silly because she told us we'd probably feel dumb but it would look awesome (and after seeing our sneak peeks she was 100% right!).I cannot say enough good things about our experience working with Christine. We felt truly cared for and that Scott and Christine were genuinely invested in making it the best day for us, and that they also genuinely enjoyed it. We are forever grateful that we found her and that she was a part of our day. It truly exceeded all our wildest dreams.

If an adventure elopement interests you, you should hire Christine to capture your day! She not only captures excellent photos, but she truly wants you to have the best day and will act as your photographer, bridesmaid, hype girl, or whatever you need!After we attended a beautiful, yet traditional wedding, we decided the stress, costs, and attention of a traditional wedding was not our idea of a perfect day. So, we began looking for alternatives of a way to make our wedding day feel special to us. Somehow, we wound up on the Made in the Mountains webpage and instantly knew it was meant to be. I mean, her pictures alone were convincing enough, but the services she offered and her knowledge of the locations really sealed the deal.Ultimately, my husband and I decided on the Bavarian Alps for our elopement. We spent about 10 days in Germany doubling it as an elopement trip and a honeymoon. Christine helped us decide on the perfect locations to visit based on what we wanted/our abilities, she helped reduce any unnecessary stress the day of by carpooling with us, picked out some great eats for us the day of, and even provided us with several recommendations including where to stay, vendors we could use, and activities to fill the day. The day of was everything and more we could have imagined and Christine somehow managed to capture our day for us perfectly!We did initially have reservations towards eloping without our friends and family present. We weren’t sure if they would be on board or want to celebrate us. Well, that wasn’t the case at all! Whether they were invited to it or not (and they weren’t) people love love. Our friends insisted on a bachelor/bachelorette party for us, our family still gifted us or wrote us loving words of congrats, and I was even thrown a surprise Bridal shower. In fact, the only “complaint” I got from my friends and family was that I didn’t have any pictures available the day of for the simple fact that we had Christine there to capture our day for us so we could live our day in the moment without distractions. This “complaint” was quickly remedied as our sneak peaks were provided the following day and our full gallery weeks later. People were blown away by our trip and even more so by our wedding photos. We will look back on this day and these stunning pictures for the rest of our lives.Let me tell you, the pictures(*chef’s kiss*), the experience(unbelievable), and Christine (professional, personal & incredibly talented) are absolutely worth it and I cannot recommend her enough as it truly was an intimate and romantic day that we got to experience together!!

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Christine & Scott! They are an amazing team to work with, and helped make our wedding day flow perfectly! Christine also helped recommend so many local vendors for us to use for our wedding in Germany, which saved us lots of time in the planning process. I cannot recommend them more! Finding Christine with Made in the Mountains Photo was like a dream come true for us! We were struggling to even know where to begin planning an elopement/micro wedding in Germany from afar, but after our first virtual meeting with her, we were immediately at ease and super excited. Made in the Mountains Photo is the best elopement photographer out there! Christine and Scott truly care about making your day everything you dreamed of. From the very beginning Christine gave us multiple resources and tips to help us through the entire process. She took the time to gain information about us as a couple and what we enjoy to create a perfect day. We encountered some last minutes issues that could have drastically altered our day, but Christine and Scott went above and beyond to help us find a solution to our problems.
