MIS Language Academy & Pre-U

I took two courses at MIS Language Academy, one was a general B2 knowledge course and the other was C1 Medical needed for the FSP. Thien prepared for the lessons thoroughly and I was able to get the most out of the lessons. During our C1 Medical course we had 'mock' anamnesis collection, discussed cases and practiced structured letter writing needed to pass the exam in BW. I highly recommend the Academy!

I really enjoyed taking German A 2.1 online class with Thien at MIS. It was a very relaxing course, which was perfect for me at that time, because I was in my last months of pregnancy. I also continued taking this course first 3 months with a baby. The environment of the course was very positive! I recommend this course for stressed and busy Mums.

Thien Pham of the Language Academy is a patient teacher who takes the time to assess where you are and build lessons tailored to your individual needs. He provides you with the skills needed to use the language in day to day activities in a fun and engaging way providing just enough scaffolding to get you speaking and challenging yourself to learn new vocabulary. Thien's teaching has made me feel at ease and reduced my anxiety around learning a new language.

I have a good experience here at this academy. Although I joined the course during the Pandemic period due to which the classroom was avoided, so had the skype experience. I had previously done my placement test with the MIS academy for German and was nicely conducted.Thien is a very good teacher and professional and is very regular with the class timings and adjust according to our need.Our classes range from doing all online exercises form DW, or lingoda, which is obviously good, but I would also recommend following a book pattern to some extent which could be helpful sometimes. The classes work in the form of Units-and charged accordingly. the units could be increased :)

My son is learning German language at MIS Language school. He was A1 level and shy to speak a few month ago. Language teacher at MIS, Mr. Thien Pham, guided carefully and systematically my son in teaching German language. My son also enjoyed learning from him and becomes more confident in expressing himself in German language. His language improved incredibly this year and now his level is B1-B2 level. Thanks Mr. Thien Pham.

It was a great experience learning at MIS from Thien. Unlike other German classes, Thien explains well how to use most common phrases one use in our day to day life. This has always been handy. Additionally, he also explains in english, which makes it easier (as a beginner) to understand. He is very patient and focus based on your individual needs. Hence I would highly recommend Thien & MIS for German classes.

Thien continues to impress with his commitment to his students. As a beginner, I am often stumped and nervous about making mistakes. However, Thien makes it a point to encourage us and learn through the practical application of language. The extent to which he invests his time into his students, including preparing for the lessons, is evident in the structure of the class - this never fails to garner appreciation from fellow educators like myself. My experience with Thien and the MIS Language Academy has been a positive one; I look forward to continuing my lessons in a warm and enriching environment.
