Worst experience.Didn’t indicate that they had no office at train station, which I spent an hour looking for. Then blamed me for not meeting their driver at the designated location, NOT SENT to me. Then blamed me for giving a wrong phone number. I never provided a phone number and the one they quoted me made absolutely no sense. An area code I’ve never even heard of. Normal a very professional outfit. This location is not doing the brand any favours

I had a great experience. Kindly got a complimentary upgrade to a nearly new car. The checkout process was clear and fairly quick. I only saw the negative reviews on Google halfway through the rental period, so was slightly concerned I'd get a few surprises returning the car, but this wasn't the case. Very simple return and no shock costs. As my normal routine, I took a few pictures before picking up the car, but these weren't required in the end. Would use again

Outrageous! Similar experience. Charged 271 Euro for a 2 cm paint chip that was likely from a adjacent parked car opening their door. Has nothing to do with me. It's normal wear and tear. I returned the car in daylight during business hours, yet no one was there to meet me. If I had been there, it might only be dirt. See pictures.Update: The total charges were 596 Euro on a 110 Euro rental. I even paid for the collision waiver, but they will charge you anyway. Also charged for fuel and anything else they could add. I made a complaint with both Poland and USA and they do not care. I will never rent from Sixt.

Straightforward process and the whole experience was smooth. We had an issue with the debit card we presented (N26) as it could not be accepted according to the agency's policies, but the agent showed flexibility and was willing to help. I recommend SIXT!

Abarth 595 for the lucky few, you can't prebook the car but if you choose to rent directly from them, at the desk you may be offered an upgrade if the vehicle is in. Take it, as its great fun.

I rented a car through Kayak / Priceline and it showed unlimited free miles. When I received the email confirmation it showed only 100 free kilometers and then USD 0.24 / kilometer.I emailed and canceled the reservation in advance DIRECTLY WITH SIXT, advising them of their fraudulent advertising but they have refused to refund me.DO NOT USE.

Ich habe ein Auto bei Sixt gemietet und der gesamte Ablauf war reibungslos. Der Shop war mit ausreichend Mitarbeitern besetzt, das Parkhaus war in der Nähe. Bei der Rückgabe hat ein Sixt Mitarbeiter das Auto in Empfang genommen und gleich geprüft und sodass nach ca. 5-10 min die Rückgabe vollständig erledigt war.Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden und gerne wieder.

I actually had a good rental experience with this company.Of course I was very worried because of all the bad reviews on Google.My main reason for booking with Sixt, despite the reviews, was because I needed to take the car to Ostrava, 25 km into neighboring Czech Republic. ALL other rental companies charge €25-60 for crossing borders, but it was included in Sixt.BOOKINGI booked directly on the Sixt website as I got a better deal than going through any price comparison sites like RyanAir, Booking.com and Wizz.INSURANCEBecause of all the bad reviews and reports about made up damages, I bought their own CDW for an extra €16/day. I also bought an extra full coverage car rental insurance on the internet that covered everything and also the things not included by Sixt's CDW.CARThe car was nice and fresh with some 15 000 km on the meter, although not the Citroen C-4 as ordered but a Toyota Avensis Hybrid. It felt a bit weak to keep up with the 140 km/h speed limit on Polish high ways.TAKE PHOTOSBefore leaving and returning, I parked the car in a well-lighted area of the parking garage to take pictures/videos of any existing damages. Fortunately I never needed the photos/videos. Bring a clean micro fiber cloth to remove any dirt and a flashlight (use the torch on another phone) might come in handy.DOCUMENTS AND PARKING TICKETDon't forget to return the vehicle's registration documents and the NEW garage ticket you get when entering the garage upon returning the car.REFILL GASThere is an Orlen petrol station just 500 m from the parking house. it can be a bit confusing how enter the gas station as you have to make a full circle and go back the way you came from in the roundabout. I made sure to fill the tank completely by filling some extra after the gas pump auto stops. So for me a good experience.
