Flughafen Luxemburg

Small but nice airport. Don’t expect much once you have been through security. There is one bar a kiosk and a snack bar. Luxembourg has free public transport so use the buses !

As an ex airport worker I found my experience in this airport pretty awful. I had a flight from Luxemburgo to Lisbon with Easyjet which departed from gate B02. Although handling had all the material available to separate queues correctly by Priority and Non Priority (Speedy boarding in this case) none of them made the effort to organize minimally. The separation between these two categories was done inside one single queue which as you can imagine... It's time consuming to ask everybody who has speedy boarding. We were told to wait after boarding and we soon understood there was a technical problem with our A320, unfortunately we waited over a hour without knowing what was causing the delay until the pilot finally made it out to confess the constraints that were preventing us from take off. Once again handling team was not friendly at all neither at boarding neither at answering our doubts, so we stayed on our two legs for more half hour until we were told to go back inside the terminal... It appeared almost as if they were playing with the passengers as if they were animals, 30 seconds after entering the terminal we were told to repeat the boarding. Plane only departed 2 hours after what was planned. For an Airport in Luxembourg I thought the day to day high standards would also be represented there. I was wrong, it was the worst boarding and handling treatment I've seen in many of my flights. Considering I myself performed this job in Lisbon's airport, it's a shame these person's don't have the decency to understand elder people can't stay on their legs as long as us young do, that babies can't really stay an hour under the sun and so on. Worst experience ever. Airplane was fixed with boarding completed.

It would be better if the airport has a express tram or bus! But in all it is a small but clean airport in order.

Auch als Ausflugsziel zu empfehlen!Sehr schön, die Angestellten super freundlich, zum Teil auch Deutschsprachig.Toilette kostenlos und für einen Flughafen sehr sauber.Das gilt auch für das komplette Gelände, sehr sauber. Bin ich von Deutschland gar nicht gewohnt!Man kann sich hier frei bewegen, natürlich nur bis zu den Terminals.Was mir noch, sehr positiv, aufgefallen ist, man kann sich als eingeschränkter Mensch hier sehr gut helfen lassen.Komme nochmal gerne

Very clean and lovely airport. Lux Business Class Lounge is a 4 out of 5 as a) the size is not overhelmig, which can cause that it feels full b) option for food and drinks are great but also not exentensive.Overall airport stuff is really friendly and helpful.

Wichtigstes Vorab.Parken/Halten ist für 15 Min kostenlos. Der Duty Free Shop ist nichts besonderes und klein.Die Sicherheitskontrollen gehen relativ zügig von statten. Wenngleich ich sie nicht sehr professionell fand.Der Flughafen ist klein und überschaubar. Man kann wenig bewerten. Zum Fliegen ist er gut aber Da Parkhaus usw ist teuer.Die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel sind von dort aus Kostenlos was sehr vorbildlich ist.

Sehr guter kleiner Flughafen, persönlich finde ich ihn sehr modern und sauber. Freundliches Personal und aufgrund der Größe gut ausgestattet, das man nicht lange warten muss. Ja die Auswahl an Shops ist überschaubar, aber es ist natürlich auch kein großer Flughafen. Fliege gerne von Lux, alles sehr angenehm. Parkhaus Preise mit ca. 30-40 € für 24 Stunden halte ich für okay, ist anderweitig auch ähnlich bis teurer.
