Ordered a Duesenberg Lap Steel from Unicorn....despite being back-ordered, staff at Unicorn kept in touch, always quickly responded to my questions, and when the item arrived here in Canada, it was well packed, had been set up, as indicated on their website. I love this place. It reminds of guitar stores I frequented in the US. They have a guitar techs that are really good and enjoy what they do. And they are very approachable, though they are busy. Repair prices are very good. The staff are so chill. They'll talk guitars, they'll leave you alone, they'll help you out. They are good at reading the room. I like hanging out here and playing different guitars and amps. The selection of electric guitars and basses, as well as acoustics and and ukuleles is great! There are really good options for people who are on a smaller budget, or who want to splurge on something more pricey. The amp selection is also quite fun. You'll find rad options for used gear and they have new stuff as well. Oh, they sell strings, cases, tuners, etc. I highly recommend this place! They have the friendliest staff. That's an important detail for this city. In my experience, at least.

Danke für den tollen Service und die perfekt eingestellte Burny Les Paul. Eine super Gitarre - und die Beratung ist sehr empfehlenswert. Ich war nicht das letzte Mal in Freiburg bei Unicorn - auch wenn es immer ein Stück zu fahren ist aus Baden-Baden.
