My son was in this school for 12 years and he very happy always to see his friends and I recommend to go to this school

I think some of the teachers are racist and have prejudices against some of the students. Furthermore the quality of education does not equal the expensive tuition fee. Other than that, despite the school claims that it cares about their students, its actions do not represent its statements. For instance, the current IB coordinator intentionally denies students’ freedom of choice of their subjects and manipulates students into making the incorrect decisions.

all private schools in Hamburg are a waste of money cuz they cannot reach the quality of public schools, its impossible, this one is no exception. So if you are an expat or something like that, save your bucks and register your child at a public school. you welcome!

My children experienced ISH during 2 and 4 years, last years before IB. They enjoyed it and kept good friends. Some fields for improvement but overall a positive experience.

Sehr armselige Kommunikation! Wir versuchten unsere Tochter einzuschreiben, stellten zeitnah alle Dokumente zur Verfügung und zahlten 500€ admission fee. Wochenlang keine Reaktion! Auch nicht auf Nachfragen! Dann eine Info, man würde uns in der kommenden Woche anrufen. Nichts geschah! Wir zogen unsere Bewerbung zurück, es kam eine lange Mail mit Ausreden, auf unser Geld warten wir heute noch. 0 Sterne!

As the parents of a boy in Junior School for three years we have been extremely happy the the care and education provided by ISH. The wonderful, dedicated and caring staff (homeroom, specialists, library, counselling) are in our opinion the biggest asset of this school.

Attending over NECIS weekend, gym seems adequate enough. Nice Cafe center with good sandwiches and nice people working it. Spectator area very small. Parking not great, had to park off-site in dirt lot, overall average venue.

I attended this school for 3 years and have only good things to say about my experience. The teachers are amazing and are passionate about seeing their students succeed. They are constantly encouraging students to do their best and teaching them to learn from their mistakes instead of giving up. I learned many valuable lessons and skills in my time at ISH and i don't think I would be where i am right now if it weren't for this school.

Most expensive International School in Hamburg, it cannot compete with local schools in terms of organisation, education standard and value for money.Sports program is very limited for under 12 years old.The school does not support mother tongue without extra financial compensation, apart from German (which is odd for an International school), the integration with the local language and culture is very limited and after 3 years at the ISH, our children are far from confident in German.- The school Business model seems based on single working parent:Much voluntary support is requested from house mums"
