Bootsverleih Essen-Werden

The price of the boat is really reasonable. For ½ hr the price for a boat is 7€ and for an hour is 12€. A group of 4 people can enjoy the boat at the same time... So best way to enjoy the nature with your colleagues in the middle of the busy city.

Super netter und hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Unseren Kinderwagen könnten wir am Bootssteg stehen lassen und es wurde drauf aufgepasst. Nach der Bootsfahrt gab es dann ein kühles Radler im angrenzenden Biergarten. Insgesamt tolle Location und guter Service.

Nette Leute, faire Preise, tolle Lage und Wetter war auch super. Aber die boote gehen gar nicht.Die lehne nur halb hoch und die kante drückt auf die Wirbelsäule.Das schlimmste ist dass man stromaufwärts gar nicht vorankommt. Flussabwärts super cool aber was bringen 10 min abwärts wenn du 50 min lang fast nicht vom Fleck kommst?Hat leider keinen Spaß gemacht. Es war super anstrengend.

Sehr empfehlenswert. Nette Inhaber, tolle Boote , Mega idyllischer Ort. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder ;)

Nettes Personal. 8€ für eine halbe Stunde Tretboot fahren, geht in Ordnung.

Hat Spaß gemacht. Familienfreundliche Preise. 30 Minuten für 7€, 1 Stunde für 12€. 4 Personen passen auf ein Boot.

Lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Die Jungs sind freundlich und gut drauf. Die Preise sind fair. Bis bald

Contact with owners/staff-----------------------------We contacted the staff over their phone number since there was no website to look for more info.They were very friendly and helpfull on the phone and gave directly more and good information about opening hours and possibilities.2. Arrival on site:-----------------Very easy to find if you use google maps. We took the train from Essen Hbf to Essen Werden. From there its only a 5min walk over the bridge where you already can spot the small waterboats on the left side.3. Welcoming by staff / waiting time------------------------------------We were lucky to have only a few people in front of us.When it was our turn we were welcomed by a very open and sympathic guy that explained how the rental worked and that there was a possibility to start with a rental period of 30min (which starts at 8 euro - date of rental: 29/04/2023).If you like it, there is a possibility to pay the remaining balance after.So thats great that you don't have to make quick decissions.Overall great and friendly staff!4. Experience at attraction:---------------------------The river was pretty in use since it was good weather but there was def a lot of space to go around.If you aren't fit then its a good thing to take it slowly and first to go upstream with the waterbikes so you don't push yourselves too much.Great nature and great views.Overall very fun to do on a good warm day!5. Conclussion:---------------The welcoming of staff and the friendlyness made it a great start and the nice weather and clean waterbikes made it a great experience.So my advice to others is: Go try it out!Here is my 5 star rating!
