Through the work with Suzanne, there is now a life before Suzanne and a life after Suzanne.Before Suzanne, I was constantly tense, I was on a mental merry-go-round, I couldn’t switch off, and I felt guilty if I didn’t work. There was constant worry about not doing enough and not being good enough. I felt like if I worked I was neglecting the family, and if I took care of the family I was neglecting my business. Even when my business was doing well, I lacked ease and contentment.After Suzanne, I am much more relaxed. My thoughts no longer circle, the doubts about me and my work are much smaller, I can leave work and enjoy free time without fear of disappointing anyone. I now make my decisions based on what is good for me and not on what others think. The most serious change for me is to stop trying to meet everyone else’s expectations and to see if they meet mine first.Suzanne has helped me to appreciate myself again and to trust myself.
