Da wurde nachgeholfen, mit Sicherheit.Der Bau der Votivkirche war vermutlich die Entschuldigung für diesen Meuchelmord (so ähnlich wie das Kloster Fürstenfeldbruck, das 1263 von Herzog Ludwig II (sic!) als Sühne" für die Ermordung seiner Frau Maria errichtet wurde).Man spürt etwas Geheimnisvolles

Summary: An old chapel built by king Ludwig the second. Closed to visitors. Good views around, nice long walk to reach from Starnberg. Some people mistake it for the castle next to it.Details: As far as i know the chappel is closed to visitors, but the surrounding area is beautiful. It is located in a parc full of high trees and overlooking the lake. If you're here for a walk, take the S6 to starnberg and walk for around 2 hours by the lake to reach it. Alternatively you can take a bus from Starnberg to Berg and walk for 20 mins. Berg is also a nice small town worth a visit once you're here and have time.
