You can clearly see the reviews just how the service is here. Unfortunately I couldn’t even get a word in to ask about marriage, my fiancé is from Goldbach and is registered with all documents. As a British the people I spoke to all seemed very unfriendly especially the one in charge with the registration of marriage, it’s as though discouraging you to even use their services. They suggested since I am from a different state to go to marry in my state. Thankfully the people I am dealing with are much more competent and helpful, how can you work in such a field and not even know a word of English, a universal language.. I must say as a scientist it’s the first unfriendly experience I have had in Germany. Disgusted with how dismissive the lady was and unhelpful to both my fiancé and I. If you are foreign British I don’t know about others and can do it else where and even if you are German, I would avoid at all cost. I’m glad I don’t have to spend my money for such. I hope never to even have to encounter them again.

I am incredibly happy with the service received from the Civil Registry Aschaffenburg, with a special mention to Mr. Christian Mantel! I applied for a certificate remotely, and the gentleman handling my query went out of his way to accommodate me.
