Sprachschatz - German Language School

I spent a week in Leipzig and went to Sprachschatz school. I must say I was very satisfied - flawless communication, intensive courses, very nice and clean building. I have read reviews here on Google and would like to add something - I think it is more thank okay to have the tour in German, you go to school to learn that language, after all. Also the guide used very simple explanations, I think even B1 level students should not have had any problems to understand it.Also I met interesting students in my course, we spent time together during lunch...I definitely recommend it for people, who want to learn German and are not lazy. :)

Die Sprachschatz - German Language School ist der ideale Ort für internationale Studenten und Deutschlerner! Hier lernt man in kleinen Gruppen in allen Niveaustufensehr sehr effektiv. Die Räumlichkeiten sind sonnig und einladend - die Lehrer symphatisch und offen - und die Beratung und das Angebot sind sehr vielfältig.

Meiner Erfahrung nach, bereitet die schule wohl für den Test DAF vor, zu diesem Zweck wird ein Einzeltraining geboten, das ich für sehr hilfreich erachte. Lehrer und Personal sind immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Daraufhin ist die Schule sicherlich empfehlenswert!

I recently finished an 8 week course with Sprachschatz and I couldn’t be happier about my experience. The atmosphere is really friendly and the teachers are great. With the global pandemic going on they managed to quickly adapt and made it possible to continue learning through online lessons. I would definitely recommend this school!

I took a B2 evening course last year and was very happy with the quality of the teaching and materials. My teacher, Katharina, clearly put a lot of effort into making the classes dynamic and engaging. Having taught ESL myself, I could tell that she was shaping her lesson plans around our group and not the other way around. I would definitely recommend the Sprachschatz to other German learners!

Excellent language school with professional teachers.I took a month of advanced German there (Level C1.2) and can only recommend. Students of the beginners courses also seemed satisfied.The classrooms are modern and large. The school has a modern and sharp look, with a convenient sitting area and a nice balcony, to have a coffee during the break.The teachers were professional and patient. They engage the students in an amusing and fun way and motivate them to use their knowledge and to develop a discussion and to be active in class.Every day we had a different topic and we were working on all aspects of language learning - Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing, through this topic, and it was a very interesting and fun experience.They also give reading materials and assignments every day, so that you can work on your German at home, but homework is not mandatory, and the atmosphere is very laid-back, so you can set your own pace.Today I have much more confidence in myself. I recommend anyone who would like to improve their German to come to Leipzig and learn German in this school. It was a great experience.

I took a course here in Oct-November and was very happy with experience. In my case both teachers were great, and I was particularly impressed with how structured the course was, having completed the entire textbook in the course of the class. I cannot speak to other people's experiences, but I was more than happy with my time at Sprachschaetz, and was very pleased with the attention I received not only from teachers, but from management as well. I really enjoyed the one-on-one sessions as well, which were quite helpful as well.

As a former student, I am truly satisfied with the school. From the management to the teachers themselves, they all try to help the student as much as possible, creating a very warm and welcoming environment.Most/all of the teachers speak (fluently) more than 2 languages (Making it easier for foreigners) and the progression between levels is obvious.It is definitely worth every Euro!

Meine Frau hat dort zuerst den Kurs A1 absolviert - aufgrund des guten Fortschritts haben wir dort anschließend auch den A2-Kurs gebucht.Alles lief zur vollsten Zufriedenheit - und auch für den durch Corona abgebrochene zweite Teil des Kurses A2 fanden wir eine kulante Lösung.Die Lehrkräfte haben wir als motiviert, bemüht und zuverlässig empfunden.
