Rheindahlen Military Cemetery

My baby son Jamie is laid to rest here, 46 years ago.

My baby sister Eileen rests here, I last visited about 10 years ago. Now that I live in Germany albeit about 4 hours drive away I can visit her more often xxx

My dad is buried here , I have tried to repatriate him back to the UK but unable to as the 99% of the graves are all floating in water. All the coffins are lined in plastic,so all buried in a bag which has filled with water. Apparently this is classed as a Biological hazard and a risk to human life. His body is buried in a plastic bag inside his coffin so does this mean that the MOD was aware of this at the time of burial. The world health organisation say different. Won't give me any answers or evidence to support their findings as at the exhumation there was no toxicologist present. The local registrar has not given me any information and has made this statement about Biological Hazard and a risk to human life and cannot substantiate her findings. Since writing this review I have since found out that the MOD are aware that the cemetery is marsh land, so they knowingly buried all our loved ones in water

Ein Ort der Stille, bewegend, beeindruckend und idyllisch. Man vermutet hier einen Soldatenfriedhof, anstatt findet man hier die Gräber von über 850 Kindern britischer Militärangehöriger.
