Parkplatz Donauursprung / Parkschwimmbad

Free gravel parking lot near the start of the Danube. Since nothing is marked and practical information is hard to come by in Germany, follow these directions to the confluence. As you face out of the parking lot toward the road, turn left and walk down the road toward the bridge. There is no sidewalk, but there isn't much traffic. Just before you get to the bridge, there is a wooden walkway that goes to a viewing platform just above the confluence. If you walk over the bridge there is another (gravel) path that leads to 2 viewing platforms. There are other walking/cycling trails nearby in the park. Unless your visit coincides with a tour group the area will be peaceful. There are lots of water fowl around (ducks, storks, swans) and plenty of benches and stools where you can sit.
