When i found this restaurant it’s like I have found a gem. Considering Heidelberg being a relatively small town in Germany, we did not think that it would have a decent asian restaurant.Saigon sonne exceeded our expectations and all their dishes were exceptional!!We ordered:Fried duck with hoisin sauce (10/10)Beef with curry sauce (8/10)Fried rice (9/10)Spring rolls (8/10)Fried wonton (8/10)Pho (8/10)Highly recommended, and definitely will be back if we visit Heidelberg. Luckily it was open on the New year day too!!

Die gegrillte Hühnerbrust war meiner Meinung nach etwas überteuert aber gut. Der Eistee war sehr lecker.

A restaurant whose food you can never forget!I would recommend the Sommer rolls here along with pho, stir fried udon noodles. I came here in February and can't wait to come here again! I believe i had tried a platter which had sommer rolls, prawn flavoured rice chips and many other lip-smacking stuff.Being a huge foodie i usually try a lot of stuff here and there, but i must say this was one of the best Vietnamese cuisine restaurants that i have ever tried ❤️Only one issue was with the service. We waited for the waiter to come take our order for over half an hour. But they didn't seem to take notice, took orders around us but not us. However after that everything was wonderful and i loved it here❤️Highly recommended!

Had the Phô Ga. Absolutely the best I’ve ever had. My wife had the crispy duck and it was the best we ever had! We both highly recommend this place if you like Viet Cusine!

Friendly welcome and nice atmosphere but food were unfortunately mediocre. Pho was oily and the duck hoisin has some strange taste or texture perhaps that made our tongues and gums hurt. Not sure whether the sauce or the crispy texture of the duck that caused the weird after effect. Price was okay around 15-20€ per person. Location wise it’s situated in the middle of the city so convenient to reach by foot from other stores. If you happened to explore the city centre

Good food and good service! We came for a light lunch here and were not disappointed! The yellow coconut curry was outstanding and the chicken pho was also delicious and fresh! It is a bit on the pricer end, but not terrible, especially for the quality! It was a clean store and had German and English menus.

The worst Pho i have ever tried. The soup is very light, very low quality, too much oil that you can’t enjoy the soup. I asked for green chilli and the waitress made such face that i am asking for something special without money. Very expensive with the food quality they offer. They just use good quality plates and dishes and make it look like expensive.The wantan and sommerroll was really good.
