Wer Käse liebt, ist hier im siebten Himmel! Das Restaurant ist rustikal und die Besitzer und Bedienungen freundlich und unkompliziert! Man spürt, dass es sich hier nicht um ein klassisches Touristen - Lokal handelt. Hier verbringen Franzosen ihren Feierabend und es wird ausgelassen gegessen und getrunken! Wer sich darauf einlässt findet das beste Raclette und Fondue weit und breit! Ein Erlebnis für den Gaumen und eine Esskultur die man in Deutschland schwer vermisst! Kleiner Tipp: mit der Linie A der Tram kann man den Teilort zu jeder Tageszeit optimal aus Straßburg Zentrum erreichen!

Had to book, and only got a booking within 2 weeks due to a cancellation, that just shows popular it is.Not surprisingly, as the food was plentiful and great. Atmosphere was great, especially for an English tourist looking to experience authentic Alsacien cuisine and culture.

This was our first time here, we came over from the hotel because of an amazing picture on Google. We didn't know what Savoy was before, but looked it up over dinner. I got La Savoyard crepe - onions, potatoes, and cheese, which was amazing and a very good sized portion, I wasn't able to eat it all. It also came with a generous salad with tasty dressing. Hubs got Le Berthoud - melted cheese with sweet wine mini potatoes, meat, salad, pickles, he ate all of it. I tried some of the melted cheese on bread, tasted like butter and heaven, I would definitely order this next time. Two friends got Gratinée à l'oignon - cheese and bread soup, they did not know before what they were ordering, but it was a big bowl, filled them up, and they liked it a lot. The host did not speak to us in English but was very kind, tried to help us with French food pronunciation, and even guessed what dessert my friend wanted off of hand motions and pointing. She got another waiter who spoke English to take our orders, he too was helpful, and coached us on pronunciation which we appreciated. I also got a cappuccino that was delightful, hubs got coffee ice cream since he thinks this region has the best. Beautiful interior, tablecloths, old wooden beams, nice evening lighting, great service, perfect food.

What a fabulous time we had at this restaurant!!The owner was terrific..funny and so helpful! He explained and recommended a sampling of the most popular dishes…fondue, raclette, tartiflette, savory and sweet crepe. We LOVED every single dish! If we weren’t a plane ride away, we’d be here every week!! Thanks for providing such great food in such a quaint atmosphere!!

Wer Käse mag, wird das Savoy Cross lieben. Nettes Personal, leckeres Käsefondue, leckerer Raclettekäse, von dem Event beim Essen ganz zu schweigen. Der Besuch lohnt sich wirklich. Keine sorge, hier wird man auch mit mäßigem bis nicht vorhandenen französisch herzlich bedient. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass der Käse so satt macht dass man leider nicht jeden Tag hier essen kann...

Wundervolle Location und sehr leckeres Essen. Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend und doch lebendig. Gehe gerne wieder hier hin.Die Portionen sind sehr groß, selbst ich bin am Ende mehr als satt.

We rode our motorcycles a long way from where we were staying to eat here because of the reviews. language was a little bit of a struggle but we managed with pictures. Fondue was ok. Tasty cheese but I would try something different if we ever get the chance again.

Best Fondue ever eaten!!A bit out of the city centre but definitely worth going all the way.It feels like grandma's home in the country side, very welcoming environment, warm and simple.I recommend the fondue Savoyard and le Gratin. Portions are big, better if you share .The price is good, and you can pay with credit card.
