Yellow Yoga Studio Sonne

Yellow Yoga Retreat dedicated to nourish Resilience in August 2022 Gebhardshütte Odenwald has been a life changing experience for me, which brought more light and joy, awareness, helped me to grow spiritually. I practise Kundalini Yoga with my muched loved teachers Paula and Rebecca for over a year and went to retreat to enjoy retreat and intense training with my masters. They were giving amazing classes with pranayama, kriya and Gong bath. Special huge thanks to Yellow yoga for super yammi food they cooked fresh every day for breakfast brunch and dinner. Food was amazing with lots of variety in dishes and flavors. Accomodation has everything needed to be happy, comfy bed and shower, great garden and lot of areas to chill with journaling or book. Thanks to wonderful Victoria Simpson, I discovered incredibly powerful new tools like Kirtan and Silence Healing. The program of retreat has been great planned, so that we had 2 yoga classes a day, plus beautiful heart opening singing circles to close the day. We did hikes in amazing south German forests, were swimming in the lake, went to see old city and experienced wonderful nature around the house. Yellow yoga team, thanks so much, love you a lot, with you I always feel at home.

The yin yoga class would’ve been nice if people actually had space to move.We were squeezed in super tight and latecomers almost couldn’t find a place to lay down their mat, people had to constantly move tighter to fit everyone. Not a great way to find peace.

Ich finde das Studio wirklich toll. Schöne entspannte Räumlichkeiten, weder zu hip noch zu esoterisch! Ich liebe den Kurs bei Paula <3

I love this yoga studio, but it is always too crowded. On weeknights the room is so full you’ll end up knocking into the person next to you. Completely undermines the experience. I don’t understand why they don’t just limit it to maybe 5-10% of how many attendees they have at the moment, as it would massively improve the experience. Otherwise you’re clearly allowing the financial benefit of clogging the room with people outweighs the quality of the class.

Wonderful teachers, great variety of classes and a beautifully inclusive payment system. I especially love Valerie s classes but coming to this studio which feels more like a community means being in safe hands. Totally recommend

the first studio I came to when I moved to Berlin. I thoroughly enjoy and cherish the space. in particular i am so grateful for the classes from Valerie, Katzi, Eric, Paula and Yaninna to name a few. the morning challenges are also wonderful. it's a treat to practice yoga in this space.

Absolutely adore Yellow Yoga! I have been a regular student there for 8 (!) years, and have always enjoyed the self-empowering and thoughtful approach of the teachers I have encountered there. The space at Sonnenallee is beautiful in both summer and winter, and the stove fire in the cold months adds an incredible charm.

Ich kenne das Yellow Yoga Studio Sonne zwar nur online, aber bislang hat mir wirklich jeder Kurs sehr gut gefallen. Es ist zudem überhaupt nicht selbstverständlich, dass ein Yogastudio eine „solidarische Gemeinschaft“ ist, so dass ich mich mit den Werten sehr gut identifizieren kann. Es ist mir persönlich total wichtig, dass ein Studio unabhängig, fair, tolerant und ein sicherer Ort ist. Für mich ist das Yellow Yoga Studio online ein Safe Space.
