Following the latest safety regulations during Corona time, the church in Kreuzberg is celebrating worship services on Sunday evenings at 6pm throughout the summer until early September. At its sister church Jacobikirche on Oranienstraße 133, the service takes place at 10am Sundays.Community singing and prayer are taking place - as well as a bread Eucharist.Social distancing inside the sanctuary means that seating is in pairs only. Facemasks are required upon entering and leaving the sanctuary along with hand sanitizing. Hymnals are not being distributed, but take-home worship programs contain all the info you need for the service.As usual during the summer, many smaller groups and services take a pause until the start of the fall season.I highly recommend taking a respite from daily stresses and pressures and attending a Protestant/Lutheran worship service during your next Sunday in Kreuzberg. Melanchthon-Kirche is located at Planufer 84, across from the popular Admiralbrücke and several cafe restaurants.
