Interesting museum about the history of Düsseldorf. There is a variety of historical and art objects in multiple exhibition rooms. You need at least 1 hour to see everything quickly or 2-3 hrs for a more attentive tour. Most of the information is in 2 languages: English and German. A must if you live in Düsseldorf!

The stadtmuseum is good for a visit, and it's free on Sundays! I love Dusseldorf, so seeing the history made me happy but don't expect too much from this one. There are some neat things to see but it's much like the city- not great for tourists, but awesome for daily life so there you go. Not spectacular but easy and comfortable. The staff was great.

Schönes Museum mit interessanten Werken querbeet.Alles unkompliziert, man kann sich alles in Ruhe anschauen, ohne dass man beobachtet wird, wie das oft so ist. Viele Räume, allein das Gebäude ist nett.

Wonderful look at the history of the town, with plenty of artifacts. There's also a strong focus on art due to the town's history as a centre for artists. The museum follows a timeline as you go through, from the past up to the present day. Staff are helpful and there are lifts for wheelchair users and others to get around.

Schönes Haus mit viele schöne Gegenstände aus der Vergangenheit..allerdings habe so ein wenig der Eindruck das das ausgestellte etwas lieblos und durcheinander ist....Der angrenzend e Rosengarten und der Park sind eine Aufenthalt wert

Viele historische Gemälde, Interessantes zur Stadt Düsseldorf und größer als man denkt. Von der Zeit vor und nach der Gründung bis heute. Mode und Modelle und wichtige Personen. Hilfreicher Empfang und viele Informationen. Typisches Museum. Aktuelle Corona Regeln werden eingehalten. Günstiger Eintritt, aber nur Barzahlung möglich.
