Full story, great experience:I came to cologne for a weekend and wanted to get a tattoo, but hadn't made an appointment. I was calling several places on sunday morning, but most places were either closed or only did appointments.Vince from Stabbed tattooing ended up being the only affordable place available that day, so i sent the design (cartoon-like with black areas), got an estimation of the price and went there.When I came to the building, I just found an artsy collection of junk. I called Vince, he brought me inside and assured me it would be an experience.So it was. When he opened the door to the appartment with his fingerprint, and I saw a collection of antique guns, tools and mannequins, my mind started racing, wondering if I would actually get Stabbed there myself xDHowever, his girlfriend was there aswell, and we started to chat about anything life related and we listened to my album (Zwaboldy - The Library of Baby) while Vince traced my design by hand off the picture i sent him. The traced drawing, when placed on my skin, faded slightly, but Vince made sure to recreate it perfectly anyway.The place, while odd and unconventional, started to feel really welcoming and full of personality. The equipment was sterile and he was precise and thoughtful of me and my relative lack of experience getting tattooed.When it was done, I felt that I didn't only get a great tattoo, but gained a special experience and a real bond with a kind indipendent artist that opened me into a slice of his life. He also showed me some grills he made for rappers, and told me about music videos he produced.I very much recommend getting tattooed here for not just the great tattoo, but a great, personal experience overall. You also support a kind, talented, indipendent artist.
