NoGi Grappling mit Herz. Und absolut empfehlenswert! Das Training ist anspruchsvoll, die Menschen herzlich und der Headcoach mega engagiert. Es findet sich auch Vormittags oder am Wochenende immer jemand zum Trainieren und Drillen. Wer also richtig Bock hat, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Einfach anschreiben und mitmachen! Es gibt mittlerweile auch Kindertraining, von dem ich nur gutes höre.

Dropped in for a couple classes during my trip to Hamburg coming from California. It was exactly what I was hoping for. High level instruction and attention to detail. Although I only attended two classes, I was able to improve my game instantly. I enjoyed Julian’s approach to teaching. Thanks for the rolls and feedback Julian. -Peter

Ausschließlich No-Gi Jiu-jitsu. Ich bin in Hamburg schon in etlichen Gyms/Akademien gewesen, dieses hebt sich insbesondere durch das technische Training und den achtsamen und aufmerksamen Trainer ab. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung.

Julian has been the most technical and precise coach I had the pleasure to learn from. After 10 years of having my last bjj training (while still in Brazil), starting again felt exciting but also quite scary. Julian's presence was not only welcoming but his calming energy gave me security. As the only woman until then, I must say that I never felt so comfortable and safe during a session. The level isn't only extremely high, everyone has been friendly and helpful. I couldn't be happier that I found IPA after looking for so long in Hamburg. Julian's attention to detail, knowledge and ability to feedback each one of us individually has allowed me to feel a great improvement after only a few sessions already and I can't wait to see what the next year will bring by his side. I am beyond grateful for what he delivers and how much passion for the sport he has.

Jeder der in den Genuss kommt bei IPA zu trainieren, merkt direkt das hier ein Trainer am Werk ist der nicht nur einem Job sondern seiner Berufung nachgeht.Julian ist mit Leidenschaft beim Training und optimiert Trainingsinhalte und -methoden bis ins kleinste Detail, um das Maximum aus jedem Einzelnen rauszuholen, auch sich selbst.Nicht unerwähnt soll seine sympathisch und empathische Art bleiben, mit der es geschafft hat ein tolles Umfeld zu kreieren in dem man effektiv lernen und sich entfalten kann.

Julian is a great coach and I love his teach styling. His explanations are really technical and he give us freedom to explore the position as you wish, so you can use the time as it fit you best. I am still have a lot to improve, with Julian’s feedback I saw great progress in a short time in many of my technics. He also does great pairing with the students, matching similar levels on ways which make fun and challenging. I definitely recommend it.

I am so happy to have finally found the Inside Position Academy after having trained BJJ at another place in Hamburg without too much enjoyment and success. First and foremost, the vibe and the team spirit is more welcoming and cooperative than I had ever imagined. Everybody actively helps his fellow team mates to get better. The training is effectively designed and conducted in a very systematic, professional way. The head coach (as well as the assistant coaches) works closely and empathically with all students to enable them to take the next steps in their skill development and reach their goals. The kids classes are awesome, too. My son (5 years) loves going there two times a week for the fun and playful style of the training and the positive and mellow attitude of the trainer. Thank you, Julian and the whole IPA team!

Ich kenne Juian seit vielen Jahren. Ihn zeichnen viele tolle Eigenschaften aus. Besonders aber, seine Beobachtungsgabe. Er hat einfach den Blick dafür was jemand als nächstes lernen muss um sich zu entwickeln. Wenn er mir mal einen Tip gegeben hat, dann war das für mich auch ein Gamechanger. Es gibt Dinge die kann man nicht lernen - das ist irgendwie angeboren, so wie eben seine Beobachtungsgabe.

I'm so happy to have found Julian and his gym. His way of coaching is truly unique and I learned more in every single session than in weeks at other gyms. In this gym, it is possible to make fast progress in the sport, independent of the starting level. Julian has a special capacity to observe and analyse holes in the game or weaknesses of everyone, and then provide you with the information, possible solutions, and eventual goals - everything in such a calm, pleasant and friendly way.He incarnates the spirits of jiujitsu and is living the sport fully, and this enthusiasm is contagious.I really appreciate going there and feeling to get better so fast.Also, I'm extremely thankful for this opportunity to train at such a high level and I'm excited to see where it will bring me.

Außerordentlich gutes und vor allem qualitativ sehr hochwertiges Training in der Akademie.Alles dem ausgezeichnetem Trainer, Julian, zu verdanken.Wer richtig gutes Jiu-Jitsu lernen und natürlich auch zu einem sehr schönen und respektvollem Team gehören möchte, ist hier perfekt aufgehoben.Das sehr detailreiche und präzise, an die heutige Zeit angepasste Jiu-Jitsu-Training ist hervorragend.Ich habe schon an mehreren Orten trainiert undmuss sagen, kein Ort ist zu vergleichen, wie mit dieser Akademie.Hier finden sich Anfänger und fortgeschrittenere Menschen super zusammen, alle können von einander lernen.Der spirit auf der Matte ist unschlagbar.
