It is a cool startup company producing electric charging stations for electric cars. It is in Berlin.

Recently been interviewed by this startup. The interview was probably the worst in my 8 years of carrier as researcher.The development team leader Holger Birkmeyer was the first person I met.From the beginning I was asked to wait in cantine or lunch area. After a while I was taken into a room which was 2 x 4 meter full of parts and looking like a storage room. They had no idea about who am I, what profile I have. Very arrogant behavior of Mr. Birkmeyer was for me indeed very unpleasant as first impressions of the company.Later on another team lead joins the meeting sitting behind me because of lack of place. So basically I had to tell them about me constantly turning my head back and forth.The second person was not native German and while asking questions to me, I could not sometimes grasp his though, asking to repeat the question.One of the negative parts was Mr. Birkmeyer's response to my request to repeat question with very unpleasant arrogant smile stating how I could not understand the question if he could. At that point I was just wondering how far this nightmare can go, but that was not the end.Mr. Birkmeyer no one is allowed to treat people like that, no matter what skills level, language level and idea patterns they pursue.After spending more than an hour there, they ask me to take a test which takes another hour estimated, and then another hour for evaluation.At least they could have told me in advance, maybe I have stuff to do, maybe I have kids to take care of, not nice impressions.Anyway I decided to take this test, and later I got evaluation which was indeed negative. Lastly they asked me if I have questions to ask and same time told that they have some stuff to deal and that they have no time at all. So I left being completely shocked.Moral of the story......I believe that this place is not a good place to start working and or developing your carrier. If they treated me like that from the first sight, I can imagine how employees are being treated there. Also they are not registered at KUNUNU.de" employer review website which lets company to be reviewed by people.My advice
