Lagerhof Inn

I walked into my room and there were five bugs on the walls. They put me on the third/top floor. The hottest floor and I know there were more rooms available on the lower levels. Very small space. I will recommend staying on the economy. I realize there is no AC but there are also no screens and the bugs were bad. Prices downtown are cheaper as well. They won’t get me again.

Staff is always so kind. Manager is an amazing person who is always trying to make things better. Rooms are a little out dated in the second building. Of course it's Germany so no AC and it gets hot in the summer. Location is great for walking around post or down into town.

Staff is very professional and friendly and the rooms are well-cleaned... but these facilities need significant renovation. This is easily the dingiest and most aged/outdated Army Lodging I've ever stayed in, and I've been active duty for 17 years now. Dim florescent lighting, scary broken electrical sockets, an incredibly loud minifridge, and faded green AstroTurf carpet in unexpected places - but hey on the plus side, there's a VCR in my room. (a VCR??)

The employees are very friendly and they even take the time to remember your name and speak every time they see me.

It's pretty good for an OCONUS post hotel. There is of course no AC, because its germany. And the rooms can hold a lot of heat, especially ours. But it's not too bad.The staff is very friendly and helpful. From the front desk to the maids they have been excellent. While we adjusted to the new time zone, they even found us when we were awake to give us clean towels and whatever else we needed, as we slept through the day a fee times.Breakfast could use major improvements. It's basically just cheap cereal and bagels. There is a fancy coffee machine but the coffee is weak. This is a supplemental breakfast, do not plan to eat this as a whole breakfast and be satisfied in any way.The laundry room has four washers and four dryers, which seems to be enough for all the families here. We haven't waited long the two times we've done laundry so far.The gym also is adequate with several nice cardio machines and a higher end weight machine, plus limited dumbbells.The kitchens in the rooms are sufficient to do just about anything. We have bought local meat a few times and cooked a nice and whole meal, and the counter/bar space is big enough for four of us to eat, they even brought us a high chair to keep for the duration of the stay. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, including pots pans strainer knife set measuring cups cork screw cheese grater and more.There is also a small playground feet from the front door which has a tall slide, a couple ladders, monkey bars and one swing.

Nice Army hotel. Front desk staff varies but for the most part very friendly. We had a 2 month old baby and two large dogs and they were very accommodating. Would be glad to stay here again.

Nice sized suite for family, and extremely friendly staff. Kitchen is fully equipped, and the same size as the majority of kitchens you'll find in German homes. Lots of amenities such as free laundry, fitness center, playground, and free breakfast. There is a spa located in the building as well for facials or waxing. Overall a great stay other than a slow draining sink
