HOTEL ZOO BERLIN

This hotel is so posh even the staff is super arrogant! :)) I loved it! Amazing gym, rooms, food and bar. Highly recommended. Don’t try to make the staff smile, they won’t.

Ich habe nur etwas zur Rooftopbar anzumerken, mit welcher auf der Webseite geworben wird….Türsteher sortieren willkürlich aus - wer keinen Schönheitsideal entspricht oder knappe Klamotten als Frau trägt braucht schon gar nicht hierher kommen. Eine absolute FrechheitZutritt wird auch Hotelgästen verweigert mit sich schlecht ausgedachten Behauptungen.Ich bin wirklich geschockt…

We have been at this hotel for 2 nights out of 5 night booking. Both nights the hotel restaurant and rooftop blocked for corporate events. It’s 11:38pm and the ceiling is literally bouncing from the party on the rooftop. Phoned the front desk and they basically said, not our problem. Do not stay here if you are expecting a boutique hotel experience. This is a Sheraton with a night club.

What a great hotel. It was our first time in Berlin and we were so impressed with Hotel Zoo from the moment we arrived. The interiors are luxurious and very comfortable and we had a good view of Kurfürstendamm from our room on the 5th floor. It was quiet and spacious with a very comfy bed and a big ensuite bathroom. We had breakfast included in our booking and it was easily the best experience I’ve ever had of a hotel breakfast. The dining room is stunning and the choice of hot and cold food was exceptional. Lovely welcoming staff throughout the hotel made our holiday stay special and it was obvious that they were all very invested in the guests’ enjoyment. I can’t praise this hotel enough and would definitely stay there again.

This resort is one of my favorites in this area. I have been staying here for years. If you stay for a few days you won't be let down.Hotel Zoo is a reliable class act in Berlin’s West. Beautifully designed, supremely friendly staff, a great bar and excellent breakfast to boot. If you come visit the city, Hotel Zoo should be on top of your shortlist.

Poor Service，Lack of ProfessionalismMy breakfast experience here on July 2 was nothing short of dreadful, all thanks to a particularly dismissive male waiter. As the only Asian customer that morning, I couldn't help but wonder if this establishment practices differential treatment.Despite multiple attempts to get his attention, he blatantly IGNORED my simple request for a cup of coffee. It was abundantly clear that he saw me waving my hand several times, but he seemed to be more interested in avoiding me than serving customers.I must say, such disrespectful behavior is utterly unacceptable in a hospitality establishment. If you can't ensure fair treatment for all customers, it's time to rethink your hospitality values.

First I wanted to give 3 stars for a Hotel with some positive aspects but a relative “super cool” arrogant staff attitude. Then I had an experience with a staff member who first blocked my car by parking in front of mine, second no excuses when he finally came, third was lying to me pretending the car was a guest car (with a plate number B-HZ, indicating that it is a Hotel car). Being confronted, still no excuses but accusing me… I am speechless how these people deal with their clients. I won’t be one anymore!

Unmöglich, Türsteher entscheiden nach Belieben, wer die Bar betreten darf und wer nicht. Zudem dürfen unter 18 Jährige auch nicht in die Bar. Laut den Sicherheitskräften ist das nämlich in Deutschland per Gesetz verboten. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption meinen, dass in den AGBs des Hotel klar ersichtlich ist, dass der Zutritt der Bar erst ab 18 Jahren gestattet ist. Leider ist dies für mich in den AGBs nicht ersichtlich.Ich kann das Hotel somit nicht empfehlen.
