Greatly appreciated the support of the Hello Düsseldorf team during what was a crazy stressful relocation process. The team was highly efficient, supportive and lovely to work with. I also really appreciated the extra tips and suggestions.It's worth noting that I used their services as someone already based in Düsseldorf. Given how hard it is to find rental properties, it's useful to know that this support exists for locals as well as people relocating to Germany.

Blue Card expiring and need to apply for Permanent ResidencyExtenuating Circumstances:1. Pandemic2. Flood in Hagen (offices flooded, local government spread in many different locations)3. Local government trying to make a square peg fit into a round holeEffort and Result:1. Helloduesseldorf was able to get an appointment and engage with what I describe as unreachable Ausländer Behörde.2. Advocated on my behalf as my civil rights were not being recognized and the demands being made were sometimes contradictory amongst themselves, notwithstanding the unwillingness to recognize information provided.3. Advanced the application for a German Permanent Residency into the EU Permanent Residency card.Without their adept management and interdiction in the process, I would not have the Permanent Residency card. Heike in particular leads a great team, is intelligent, empathetic, very knowledgeable in this space and goes the extra mile to get the result. They have my highest recommendation.

Very nice folks but I had to keep reminding them of my case. Near the end of the 9 month process they said the immigration office had lost my paperwork 3 times.
