We visited Chocolaterie Beluga at Viktualienmarkt during our recent visit to Munich and enjoyed the chocolates purchased here.This is a popular place for hot chocolate and you'll find quite a few locals enjoying a cup during your visit. There is also a small retail section of various chocolates, gelato and other chocolate treats.We purchased several bags of alpine, milk and dark chocolates (€4.50 for 9-10 pieces), finding them to all taste rather nice. We particularly liked the milk caramel and plain dark chocolates.This was the only chocolate shop we tried in Munich so not sure how they fare compared to peers around the city. However, we were happy with our purchases from Beluga and would be happy to pick up chocolates from this shop again in the future.

This shop is right close to the market place of Marienplatz. There are 30 versions, some with alcohol. The shop is very small. Only 5-6 people can drink inside. They also offer to go. My froend did not enjoy 70%Cacao, but I enjoyed the Caramel. The milk could be little hotter to enjoy more on cold days.

Produkte top, Service schwierig, lässt sich es zusammenfassen.Viele Kunden hat das Café ja nicht wirklich, aber man meint die Damen sind stetig etwas überfordert. Womit weiß man nicht.Unklar ist auch, ob es Self-Service ist oder nicht. Das Verhalten der Servicekräfte lässt darauf schließen, auch wenn sie gegenteiliges behaupten.Die gute Lage ggü. Viktualienmarkt ist trotzdem einen Besuch wert. Dann aber direkt drinnen bestellen und sofort zahlen, Tisch nennen, an dem man sitzt, dann klappt es auch. Ansonsten wartet man eher vergebens

Unreasonably delicious! The ice cream is incredible — the deep, rich dark chocolate paired with either the hazelnut or the equally delicious white chocolate are both options I highly recommend (I got one combo one day and came back a second time for the other).

There are many selections of chocolate. We ordered Hot Chocolate as the weather is cold and the staff asked us to choose from their chocolate cubes. Love it.

We ordered 2 coffees and the waitress spilled the coffees on us. Then I told her to make me new coffee she told me that I have to wait until the queue ends, this is not my fault lastly i waited more than 30 minutes to have my coffee back. She gave us the new coffees like it was us who did the miss.

Stopped for a quick drink. The milkshakes were really delicious. Staff friendly.Edit: Went back again for one of their hot chocolates: also great.
