SLA was not my first language school option but they exceeded my expectations. We are just 3 students in the class and the teacher gets to work with each one of us. They are very professional, highly knowledgeable and flexible. I never thought I would like learning German but the SLA teacher made it easy and fun. Now, I'm even looking forward for the classes!

When we moved to Basel? I have zero German and can hardly understand the language After 2.5 months of A1 course under Jerry one of the teachers in SLA" we learned to understand basic German on A1 level. Was it hard? Sure it wasn't easy but the teacher and the school made it a warm environment to learn. From the management of the school to the teachers.. it was a smooth transaction and they were very flexible and accommodating with our desired schedule.. the highlight was when we attended a live festival and actually practiced our Deutsch in ordering

This was my second german school, I was about to give up trying to learn German until i discovered SLA Basel. The classes are small only 4-6 people which is a lot less intimating and each student gets a lot of practice during class. Gerry is a fantastic teacher and very patient, I will continue my education with SLA Basel.

My teacher has been great - very patient, would answer each and every silly question, explained the grammar concepts in depth. The batch size was not too big that allowed time for good discussion and individual attention. The office staff has been super helpful.

Bin wirklich überrascht wie effizient der Unterricht gestaltet ist. In kurzer Zeit so viel zu lernen ist genial und zeitsparend. Die Gruppe besteht maximal aus sechs Schülern und einem Lehrer. Der Lehrer kann individuell auf alle Fragen eingehen ohne viel Zeit zu vertrödeln. Neben dem qualifizierten Lehrern und dem freundlichem Personal ist auch die Lernumgebung, von der Lage bei der Tramstation bis hin zur Sauberkeit top...

Excellent School, small classes, very good teacher. Could not had a better B1 course. I can highly recommend to attend a german class here.
