Dear Sprachenzentrum,I would like to write my review on the Intensive German courses (Erasmus program) from the International Study Center (ISZ). I had a chance to take part in these courses from august to October 2020. I would like to note that for students these courses were free, but for me it costed 80 euro and for my wife - 200 euro. (It's not a problem).There were several negative moments:a) Before courses:1) The course administration is irresponsible.(I understand that there are a lot of people how want to take part in these courses, however:- I had called to the course administration several times to get information about an initial exam, payment and other questions, because they didn't answer for my and my wife emails. (Not a problem, but it's uncomfortable). Nevertheless they were polite and answered on all my questions.- We (me and my wife) got the emails with information about our timetables only in the last moment. It has been late evening (something around 20:00) before official start of courses, moreover only my wife got email with course invitation. After that I wrote my email to administration and got answer that they don't know me and my email, but they have a place for me. ( I would like o clarify that I paid money for these courses 1 week ago). (Strange and absolutely irresponsible). Nevertheless, We had started our courses in time and with correct timetable.b) During the courses:1) Unprofessional teachers (It is controversial, because my wife's teacher was a professional of her business, but my teacher was a master student (without experience and enthusiasm), moreover my A1 classes were in English (It's Ok, and I had international group mates, moreover I think it is only one workable options in this level), but at the same time the teacher has to know English in advanced level. Unfortunately, my teacher had different English level and sometimes it was difficult to understand German gamma because she can't explain us these information;2) We had online (zoom) classes, however there were a lot of problems with internet connections and other. (It were our problems and my group mates problems, aren't courses). But there were several moments: If you was disconnected or your teacher was disconnected from your zoom class your current lesson for your was closed. Second one: My teacher waited all students how had lags and other connection problems.3) I had to buy book and workbook on the special online platform (It's Ok). But we had a chance to finished only 3 free and 1 additional chapter from 12 chapters. What I have to do with these books? (I can't return them and sell, and my new teacher can't control my work. I don't know).4) Final exam. I got the exam tasks, but I didn't get a mark or something else. I tried to write email to my teacher and she did't answer to me. At the same situation was with my wife.c) After courses:1) We were waiting our results during two weeks, I wrote several email to my teacher and didn't get noting. After that I called to course administrator (Christine Knaust) and she send to me our results. I wish to thank Christine Knaust for help, but at the same time, I'm thinking about what happen with our result without my call to the office again!General: If it is free, it is possible to take part in it. If you pay money, no thank you.I hope that the administration will read this text and makes conclusions.Moreover I would like to wish get luck and write thank you for my course time.Best regards,Evgenii
