We had a great journey from Cape Town back to Rotterdam on The Green Mountain which is a container and bulk carrier. The accommodation was excellent and we were well looked after by the crew. It was a working ship and we felt very privileged to get a close up view of their working life at sea. We learnt a lot about the logistics of moving cargo from one part of the world to another and of the meticulous attention given by the crew in conjunction with the stevedores to the loading of the ship.It was a journey we will remember with many good memories and a big thank you to Captain Gora and all his officers and crew.Thank you to Arne at Langsamreisen. Slow-Travel is the best way to travel.
