We had a terrific week at the Deutsch-Institut Tirol (DIT) in gorgeous Kitzbühel. Much to our delight, the director of the language school, Hans Ebenhöh, set up a private class for the two of us with an excellent instructor, Doris. We had exceptional, tailored classes each morning and free afternoons. Doris, apart from teaching us German, provided a wealth of information about wonderful things to do in and around Kitzbühel. A few of the evenings we met Hans and other students for dinner which was wonderful. The program was everything advertised. Having just the two of us in the class gave each of us an unparalleled opportunity to speak German – and move quickly where we were reasonably competent – and slowly where we needed extra help. We plan to return for another class sometime soon! Hans was also incredibly helpful in suggesting places to stay as we were interested in staying in a vacation apartment instead of a hotel. We paid via bank transfer when we booked the week. We highly recommend this outstanding program.

Hallo, ich bin seit Jahr 2017 jeder Sommer eine Woche als Kursteilnehmer am DIT.Ich bin absolut begeistert und meine Kenntnisse, dank Hans Ebenhöh, sind jedes Jahr bessere. Man erlebt Tolle Atmosphäre und lernt interessante Leute( Teilnehmern) kennen. Sinnvolle verbrachte Woche, verbundene mit Outdooraktivitäten. Ich mag Kitzbühel und danke für alles Hans. Ottima esperienza.La mattina si svolgevano i corsi in modo divertente ed in un ambiente stimolante, e il pomeriggio la citta ed i suoi dintorni offrivano innumerevoli opportunità per trascorrere la vacanza.Inoltre l’offerta gratuita da parte della scuola di tre ritrovi settimanali permettono di migliorare ulteriormente la capacità di svolgere discorsi in lingua e di conoscere nuove persone.Consigliato

I had a wonderful and productive time at this school. The teacher (Hans) was so enthusiastic and caring about the students, and the lessons were very individualised and encouraging. It helped me so much with my German, and has inspired me to continue studying. Kitzbühel is very friendly and the local environment is so beautiful. It is a great place for outdoor activities. I hope I will be able to attend the school again and I would encourage anyone considering it to sign up!(Also Hotel Garni Entstrasser is very nearby to the school and a lovely place to stay!)

Very nice personal German language training. We had a small group (3) of adult learners. The lead instructor Hans truly cares about his students and your learning process. He would not even allow us to speak English on our breaks. The only negative was the classes were unstructured and seemed to be taught with little to no lesson plan. The classes has no structure and it seemed at times that our teacher just threw things together randomly. Overall a good experience though.

Great german school in a lovely setting. I spent 2 weeks in at Deutsch-Institut Tirol learning german in the morning and skiing most afternoons. The quality of the teaching was excellent and the three times weekly social dinners (conducted in german, of course) were a highlight. Highly recommended!

Nejlepší škola jakou jsem kdy navštevoval. Dopoledni vyučování probíhá zábavnou formou v přátelské atmosféře. Odpolední a večerní program s Hansem ,který neustále vypráví veselé prihody, nejde popsat,to se musi prožít. Vřele doporučuji a již se těším na další dny strávené v této škole.

My most effective and enjoyable German language experience ever has been the Deutsch-Institut Tirol in Kitzbühel. The instructor tailors the course specifically to what you need to improve on. Having the evening socials in the village, really help cement the language. At the end of my two weeks, I was conversant for the first time.
