Hallo,meine Frau hat ihre A1 Prüfung hier bestanden.Es ist alles sehr professionell abgelaufen.Die Einrichtung ist sehr sauber und alles ist super organisiert.Ich kann es empfehlen.Gerade für mich aus Kassel , ist es auch nicht soweit .

Letztes Jahr war ich von 2. Juni bis 22. Juni in Göttingen. Ich habe ein Stipendium für einen Sprachkurs bekommen und habe bei dem Goethe Institut C1 gemacht.Göttingen ist eine schöne Stadt mit freundlichen Leuten. Man kann einfach an die anpassen.Das Goethe Team in Göttingen ist sehr angenehm, hilfsbereit, freundlich und rücksichtsvoll. Auch sehr geduldig!Die Veranstaltungen, die uns geplant wurden, machten viel Spaß und halfen dabei, die Kultur und Leben in Deutschland zu erleben.Die Lehrkräfte sind super. Ich habe bei meinem Lehrer viel gelernt und meine Liebe für die Sprache wiederentdeckt.Vielen Dank Frau Marie Milde, Frau Sabine Quenot- Mertes, Sabine Hilz, Bente und Lilly, Herr M. Steinmetzt und das ganze Team für die Hilfe und Unterstützung.Wenn ich in einem Wort Göttingen und Goethe Institut Göttingen beschreiben muss, sage ich WUNDERBAR!- Kalpita Karkare

Eine tolle Institution. Sehr kompetente Beratung. Auch besteht es eine Möglichkeit einen Prüfungstermin ziemlich zeitnah zu bekommen. Obwohl ich keine Sprachkurse hier besuchte, habe ich eine sehr positive Erfahrung mit dem GI in Göttingen während die Prüfungszeit gemacht. Dort war meine Ansprechpartnerin Frau Alice Schrape. Sie ist hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Vor einer Terminbuchung wurde ich von ihr sehr kompetent telefonisch beraten. Auch bestand es eine Möglichkeit, die fehlende Module zu einer Prüfung einzeln zu buchen. Da ich aus weiter weg gekommen bin, hat mir Frau Schrape meinen Zertifikat vor der offiziellen Abgabe überreicht.Das Göthe Institut in Göttingen kann ich nur empfehlen!

Ich habe meine B2 Prüfung am Goethe Institut Göttingen gemacht. Alle war super, sehr professionell und ich habe das Ergebnis am nächsten Tag online gesehen und das Zertifikat 3 Tage nach den Prüfung zu Hause bekommen, sehr sehr schnell. Ich empfehle Goethe Göttingen.

In general, I’m satisfied with my experience here. The staff members are friendly and helpful. On my arrival I was very tired and could not understand German that well but they asked if I would prefer English and explained things to me with fluent English. The procedures for the placement test was also clear and easy to follow. From registration to the placement exam and getting my keys it took only about one and a half hour.As you can see in the picture, the guest house has a nice view. Each room is equipped with a small open kitchen, a toilet with a shower and basic furniture for sleeping, eating, studying and storing things. There is quite a lot of traffic outside my room but I live in a big city in my home country so it is not a big problem for me. I think the other side of this building is facing the train station, which means people staying in rooms opposite to me can hear the noise from the train throughout the day. If you prefer a totally quiet place, I suggest that you book another place. My room has some noise from the traffic even at night, but I have brought ear plugs with me so that easily solved the problem when I sleep. My classmates can rent an apartment with a similar price like here but it takes about 15 minutes for them to go to class by bus. I personally like the location here cos it’s only 10 mins’ walk from the city center and 5 mins’ walk from the school.The class is interactive and enjoyable. The teacher seems experienced and she explains concepts clearly. She is also good at managing our expectations. Each day we have 4 hours of class but thanks to the active teaching style it never felt that long.The only thing that caught me off the guard was, the course is supposed to end on August 3, 2018 but I was suddenly told in an email about one week before my arrival and later in person at my arrival here that there will be no class on August 1-3, 2018. I wish they had told me when I booked the course, then I would have booked an earlier flight back home and taken fewer days off from my work. If the last day of the course is July 31, they should have written Jul 9-31 instead of Jul 9-Aug 3 in the course enrolment information to avoid confusion. It is a pity a number of my classmates find the course dates confusing, if not our course would have been worth the perfect 5 stars.I am, however, generally satisfied with my experience here. I like the Freizeit-programme too. You can go to many places around 1 hour from here with the school at weekends and join their weekday events in the evening including the German kitchen, International Dinner, a walk in the Göttingen city, Swing Dancing and many more. Even if you come here alone for an intensive course, you never feel you are alone.

I did a 4-week intensive course at the Goethe-Institut Göttingen, and I have to say I found the staff at the Institut extremely rude, unhelpful, and unaccommodating. While I was more or less happy with my teacher, I wouldn't recommend taking a course at this location for the following reasons:1. When, in the first week of classes, another girl and myself went to the Institute director, Ulrike Hofmann-Steinmetz, to complain of a case of inappropriate and worrisome behavior by another male student toward a large number of female students, we were (to our amazement) told by her that we should all just tell the male student in question that we have boyfriends (even if we didn't) and emphasize that our boyfriends" forbid us from talking to him! We left her office dumb-founded. This middle-aged German woman seemed to have no idea that such ways of dealing with gender-based harassment are sexist and out-dated. On top of that

Mit einer Sehbehinderung eine B2 Prüfung ablegen? Ja, beim Goethe Institut in Göttingen ist es möglich!Ich bin Vollblind und habe letzte Woche die Prüfung B2 für spezifischen Bedarf abgelegt. Ich brauchte nicht nur extra Zeit, sondern auch rundum die Uhr Betreuung. Außerdem habe ich alle Texten und Aufgabe in Punktschrift erhalten. Geplant war die Module Schreiben, Hören und Lesen am selben Tag zu erledigen. Nachdem ich die Module Schreiben und Lesen hinter mir hatte, war ich ganz Müde und ausgelaugt! Für die Mitarbeiter des Goethe Instituts kein Thema! Flexibel, und hilfsbereit wie Sie sind dürfte ich das Teil Lesen am nächsten Tag zusammen met Sprechen absolvieren. Nochmals herzlichen dank an allen Mitarbeiter des Goethe Instituts in Göttingen für die freundliche, nette und außerdem geduldige Betreuung. Obwohl die Prüfung spannend und anstrengend war hat es viel Spaß gegeben.Jetzt rest nur noch die Frage, hast du bestanden? Ja, ich bin ganz glücklich. Nur noch mein B2 Zertifikat zum Ambt schicken und los legen als Masseurin und Medizinische Bademeisterin.

I have stayed in Germany two and half years and studied in Gottingen Gothe-Institut for one month,But， to be honest this Goethe-Institute is the best language School i met in Germany. Teachers are fantastic , they know how to use the best way to teach complex German grammar.Do not believe other terrible reply here, you will find refugee complain all the time and it is useless.According to what i see here，i guess maybe some refugee want Goethe-institute to provide more without money but it is impossible, please remember Refugee status is not an unreasonable excuse！！！

I made an individual C2 preparatory course in the Goethe Institute in Göttingen and I can wholeheartedly say that it was the best decision I have ever made. The staff was really qualified, helpful, nice and the teacher was more than wonderful. I have made a tremendous advancement in my language skills and I was also able to pass the exam. Although the course was really difficult, they made it for me so amusing. They constantly motivated and encouraged me to move forward and to not give up. They even offered to contact the universities I wanted to apply, to get a more detailed information about their requirements. If I had a chance, I would have loved to study german from the begining here. Among others, even though I was in a foreign country, they really made me feel at home.

I did a six month German course at Goethe Institut Göttingen. It was a great experience. The teachers and the staff are always there to help you and you get a lot of different options for your specific way of learning. As it is located in one of the best University cities in Germany, you meet a lot of international students. The green and charming city offers many possibilities for new students who want to make their way into the German education system. It would have been nice to experience a tighter relation with the University and other German students, as it is a great opportunity to get a good grasp at the way of teaching and doing research in Germany.
