Santander is genuinely the worst bank I have ever had an account in. I would recommend to stay away - I didn't have the access to my online banking account for over a month now and counting, because the support keeps sending me letters with login credentials that simply don't work and apologise for their mistake every time. I would've moved on if not them messing it up for the third time now.If you're a UdS student, consider N26 or just anything else instead.

The best bank to open an account if you're a student of UdS (or even other universities). It's right in the welcome center in the campus, so you can't miss it. I'm really glad Ms. Schwan speaks English and is so helpful towards students.P.S.: Also, no maintenance fees for students on Santander :)

Had a fantastic experience opening a bank account. Ms Sophie was kind, helpful and friendly, and also prompt in her service. She was also very knowledgeable regarding documents, offers and typical issues faced by students/expats. Definitely recommend opening an account through this branch.

Sophie is the only one who has helped me everytime I had a problem. She pateintly answered all my questions and was extremely helpful in translating german language contracts. She is genuingely a boon for the international community at UdS. However, the branch needs a bigger staff.

Die Frau, die dort arbeitet, ist ganz nett und hilfreich. Alles läuft so reibungslos ohne etwas kompliziertes. Ich bin sehr zufrieden!If you are new in Germany and want to find an ideal bank. Es ist leider seit Wochen nicht möglich Bargeld abzuheben. Die Campusnähe war einer der Gründe, warum ich zur Santander gewechselt habe. Die Nähe bringt so nur leider nichts

Very convenient for international students, as the lady there (Ms. Schwan) speaks English as compared to some other banks I've been to where language barrier was an issue. Apart from that I was pleased with the helpful and positive attitude of Ms. Schwan, and the processing of the account was very quick.
