Die Strecke hat in sich! Mal Berg hoch mit schweren Steigung, Mal Berg runter ähnlich anspruchsvoll! Dafür unglaubliche Aussichten als Belohnung!

From this free P you can make a nice roundtrip, where you will see the Jewish cemetery/Roman excavations, the Papenkaule vulcano (the only inverted vulcano in the Eifel due to the loss of lava into the Kyll river) and of course the highlight Buchenloch-cave. The path is long (2 km) but not steep when you use this P. You can also see the castle from this P. Only when approaching Buchenhohle (which can be approached in a left or right turn from Paupenkaule) the forest will be more dense and the path can be slippery and small.
