Sprachmafia. Die Sprachschule in Berlin

I took the C1.1. and C1.2 courses at this school and had a great experience. Ferda and Fani are both humorous, engaging and creative teachers. The building, classrooms and garden are lovely. The atmosphere is fun, relaxed and friendly, and I met many nice students here who have now become friends. Have been recommending to all my friends and would come back for a C2 class any time!

I have now been studying at Sprachmafia for almost 6 months, under two different teachers (Ferda and Jan). The vibe in the school is very informal, which helps in making the classes relaxed and engaging. For example, the courses are not excessively focused on following the book, we fairly often diverge from the book and spend time listening and speaking to each other about interesting topics, which is great for those (like me) whose main goal is to be able to speak German in their daily lives. The evening course times are quite comfortable for people who work during the day. I'm very happy with my progress, plan to continue all the way and definitely recommend the school to others.

Sprachmafia is a lovely lovely, school. I've just transferred from in class to online zoom class, and the difference is quite small, I was pleasantly surprised how easy it is to be learning in pretty much the same way I was in the classroom. I highly recommend for anyone who's wanting to get back into learning German (like me) or starting from zero. The teachers have a really accessible way of teaching and make you feel encouraged to keep learning. :)

I have been going to classes to Sprachmafia already for almost 2 months, and my experience it's been really positive. The class group is small and the teacher and staff always have the best predisposition to help us, with our questions. Is a really good time to improve your oral and writing skills. Really international group of students that makes learning fun and dynamic. I would recommend this school 100%

(Online course due to Lockdown) I’ve been almost 5 years in Berlin and studied German in 3 other schools and I must say this course is my favorite! I have Miriam as a teacher and she is very dedicated and passionate. I did B1.2 last month and starting B2.1 next week. I was a bit afraid of studying German online (due to the time on the screen and fear of getting bored/distracted) but the class is so dynamic and well structured that the time actually flies and leaves me motivated every time! Really recommended :)

The Sprachmafia is a great school to learn German. Ferda and her team love their job and that shows throughout. The classes are structured, dynamic and highly interactive, which enables you to improve fast while having fun. Highly recommended!

I've attended to the A1.1 course as soon as I arrived in Berlin. My teacher (Belina) was great, the school had a friendly atmosphere and staff, everything was good so I recommended it to one of my best friends but I wish I didn't. His was in a small group and, during the middle of the course, the school decided the classes would take place in a cafe (???) and another bigger group would use their room. It's a lot frustrating knowing a school can jeopardize their student's course like this, so I would not recommend it again.

Ferda and her team of teachers are really great. Ferda (the owner) in particular is an incredibly talented teacher. She is engaging, humorous, creative and adaptive to how she handels each student. I also took class with a girl named Fani who whos understanding of language and people's psychology in a learning environment was fantastic. The school is small and personal, giving it a bit of a family feel when you see familiar faces and the class sizes are pretty small which is both a good and not so good thing. You get a lot of personal time with the teacher because of the small class time but also I would imagine a large class to have more dialogue... But I don't know. The school is very accommodating to your personal needs and it was one of the only places where I found a semi intensive course on Mondays and Wednesdays. Thanks for the good times, and a big shout out to Michele for his friendly face and for always being helpful!

Highly recommended. Nur zu empfehlenI really recommend Sprachmafia. I did so far A2.2 course there but I'm going to continue. The school is located in a nice location close to Hermanstrasse. More over it has this family school vibes. It's very welcoming and there is a little garden as well where we had lesson sometimes.In regards to learning, classes are never boring and we do a lot of speaking activities with the focus on language usage. My teacher (Ferda) was paying attention to the pronounciation and was giving specific tips on what to focus depending on your country of origin. She always took care if someone had a question and explain into details and in German, which I think it's very important. Not only we were having speaking activities but also writing assigments, unfortunately in some other schools this was not regarded. If you like to progress with German with a nice atmosphere at school and vively neighbourhood I recommend. I find the classes really practical.
