My request for a map was returned with a wave of her hand towards one and my inquiry about tours with there's one in the map it's best you do it yourself". In the Lonely planet guide it says there are some some really interesting tours you can book at the tourist office!!t. Friesing is under massive pedestrianistion reconstruction and roads and paths are often blocked off

There is a Tourist Information office near Marienplatz just across from the Zierer Haus (Standesamt). It is a small corner shop but easy to find. Here you can pick up a free City Guide tourist map that is very helpful for sightseeing around Freising.There is not much available online in the English language so a stop here for the multi-language guide which pin points 14 attractions with a short description of each is very helpful.In the end, it is well worth your time visiting the Tourist Information at Marienplatz if you plan to spend a half day or more in Freising.
